Just like MAGA hats.
I haven’t heard the term “Sharon” before and the article makes no attempt to explain it (although it’s obviously the opposite of the currently trendy “Karen”).
Masks are the new hijab/burqa. men get to submit too.
I shopped two stores yesterday and conveniently forgot my mask. No one said a word.
When I do have one, it’s a TRUMP 2020 mask
I never heard of ‘Karens’ until last week and this is the first I’ve ever heard of ‘Sharons’. OK, I finally understand what a Karen is, but what is a ‘Sharon’?
Yesterday I was helping a restaurant manager arrange his tables to comply with Arizona’s “social distancing” order. I was wearing a mask, as it is our company policy when dealing with customers. I also wear one when I go to the Wall Mart or local grocery store.
Anyway, this older woman walks up and says to us, after bantering about the ridiculous rules, “That’s ok, I understand.. You’re just sheep, following other sheep off the cliff”
I bet we vote for the same people. Enough already. I’m not curtailing anyone’s freedoms by wearing the mask. I don’t tell her what to do, I don’t tell anyone what to do except my employees - and I’m not about to tell them to violate our company policy for 10 seconds of superiority.
I’ve heard the micron measurements over and over. I know a stupid mask doesn’t filter out Covid virus, but I do think it limits the droplets of our breath from traveling too far. It reduces the viral load.
You can agree or disagree. It’s ok. But I think our side is quickly becoming the Karen’s we all hate so much. You do you. Don’t call me a godamned sheep. Karen!
It looks like there has been a national breakdown in the ability to think in this country, typified by the almost ceaseless mentioning of “karens.” It is everywhere, you can’t get away from it. People who previously wrote articles and columns in an attempt to persuade and inform now use that platform merely as a decorative excuse to explore the “karen” meme. It is tiresome. Hopefully, it will blow over soon.
I tend to agree with them.
Wrong article.
The virus is submicron, yes, but spewing coughing sneezing lickspittle saliva stews are hundreds of microns.
PS , I do this type of work for a living.
Good points. Part of my approach to life is not to give other people a hard time. I respect businesses and I respect the rules of a business (or shop elsewhere). I don’t like a lot of rules from my government — but I can take that up with them, and I can vote.
I think Conservatives make a mistake when we try to shame people on the mask issue. It just perpetuates the game we’re trying not to play.
This is a health care issue...not a political one.
To the Left everything is political.
Everything.
Hence my tagline.

So, when do you believe you will stop wearing a mask? Will droplets ever cease expelling from orafices?
So, did you wear a mask before the C-19 virus outbreak? If not, why not?
KAREN
Mandated masks put folks with allergies, asthma, COPD, and other breathing issues at risk ..
Durango, Co :: Children younger than 3 do not have to wear the masks, nor do people who are unable to wear masks because of health conditions or disabilities.
Banks and other businesses can ask people to remove masks for security or identification purposes.
Masks are not required on federal, state or county land.

Then as you must surely know, "[c]oughing sneezing lickspittle saliva stews" are better controlled with a handkerchief than with an ill-fitting, improperly worn and maintained identity-hiding face mask.
Better still, if you're discharging "[c]oughing sneezing lickspittle saliva stews" your ass better stay home until you are well ... wouldn't you agree? Cheers!
When I see our state numbers finally dropping instead of rising. As it stands, Arizona is (correctly or incorrectly) looking at another 1000 deaths, give or take.
When I see that not bearing out, the mask will be in the trash.
One thing I’m frequently reminded of is Japan. Arizona has roughly the same numbers. That’s 126 million vs. 7.5 million, and we have the same deaths. What do they do, almost religiously? Masks, even when there is no virus going around.
Why not? I can understand not wearing one at the diner, but when it’s practical. I don’t think it should be made into a political statement.
