While writing in an op-ed with Republican representative Andy Biggs in the USA Today, Republican Senator Rand Paul unloaded on director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Dr. Anthony Fauci, accusing him of destroying the medical care system and ruining the economy.
Paul and Biggs did admit that they appreciate Fauci's professional medial opinion however they came down hard on him for his weak and inaccurate coronavirus models including one that said 2.2 million people may die from the virus in the United States.
Fauci and company have relied on models that were later found to be deficient, the op-ed says. He even has suggested that he cant rely on any of the models, especially if the underlying assumptions are wrong. Yet, Fauci persists in advocating policies that have emasculated the medical care system and ruined the economy.
Despite previously claiming that the lockdowns were solely for "flattening the curve," Fauci has since changed his tune by discouraging states from opening because it may cause "needless suffering and death." I think that were going to have a national one-size-fits-all approach nobodys going to go to school, is kind of ridiculous, Paul said to Fauci. We really ought to be doing it school district by school district, and the power needs to be dispersed because people make wrong predictions.

Our country suffers from an abundance of wealthy baby boomers in their 70s and some even in their 80s, who instead of enjoying comfortable retirements with their grandchildren, believe that they are simply too important to step aside. From Pelosi, to Biden, to Fauci, and countless others, they are ruining this country.
Retire. Go home. Enjoy some peace and quiet. It's time to hand over the reins.
Partially. Trump didn’t have to let him on TV every day. Trump could have reigned him in. We knew 2 weeks in what this virus could do, and we still allowed ourselves to be shut down.
But I understand it is political suicide to attack the sitting president of your party. Even to lay some blame at his feet for not making a better executive decision.
“I vas only folloving orders from da deep shtate! Heil Hillary!”
Its not about care... its about keeping the doors open. Its about taking money from hospitals simply because they do not have a high enough rate of forced flu vax. Its about 39k for a ventilated patient whether they need it or not, because meds to treat are not money makers.
The government runs every facet of healthcare for everyday Americans. Defining treatment for people they never see.
And we are okay with that.
I like Pence, but wasn’t he in charge of The Team, and doesn’t he also belong to the HIV team and PEPFAR with Birx/Fauci ??!!!
Per this video, Trump wanted to get rid of Birx, but was encouraged by Pence and Ivanka to keep her in her position from previous Admin...
Bttt
Dr. Tony sure kicked into backpedal mode once sufficiently important people began to criticize him.
Hmmm....
thanx for heads up
