Five McDonald’s workers in Chicago filed a class action lawsuit against the chain on Tuesday, accusing it of failing to adopt government safety guidance on COVID-19 and endangering employees and their families.
McDonald’s failed to provide adequate hand sanitizer, gloves and masks and has not notified its staff when an employee has become infected with the new coronavirus, according to a copy of the lawsuit provided by a spokesman for the workers.
McDonald’s said in a statement that the allegations were inaccurate and that safety, including wellness checks and protective gear, was a top priority.
The workers requested the Illinois state court issue an injunction, which would make McDonald’s stop requiring workers to reuse masks, mandate face coverings for customers and require the company to inform employees if a coworker becomes infected.

All they are doing is speeding up the automation process. McDonalds is likely to downsize their personnel requirements by a minimum of 50-percent over the next five to ten years.
In simple terms, these whiners better go and learn how to ‘code’ because their days of permanent employment via McDonalds is coming to a close, and half of them will be out of work.

I conjecture that lawsuits are why the blue states are hot and heavy to put contact tracing in place. The whole methodology sounds tailor made to support law suits. It’s part of Nancy’s gift to lawyers who will drain off energy to keep the economy on its back.

How can they prove exactly where they got sick? They could have easily got it on a city bus, train, at the grocery store, from their drug dealer. .....covid can incubate for weeks.

Covid-19. has béen a windfall for some companys. It has allowed them to test their workers and see who really is worthy of a job. When this is over, some people wont have jobs. and their former employers will be better off for it.
