When dining rooms in Washington start to reopen in the coming months, restaurants will not be required to record customers’ contact information after all.
In a walk-back of a controversial component of the restaurant reopening guidance issued earlier this week, Gov. Jay Inslee’s office issued a statement on Friday evening “clarifying” that the state will not require customers to provide their contact information when they go out to eat.
Instead, businesses are asked to maintain a list of customers who voluntarily do so.

Restaurants, especially chains and well known restaurant owners in Seattle RAISED HELL. Plus, fortunately, Inslee is weak and usually caves.
Gotta wonder how Inslee is doing against potential GOP opponents. Inslee’s 2016 margin wasn’t huge - 9% in a year when Trump was on the outs with many Republicans and independents who thought he was a liberal trojan horse. Now that Trump has proven himself to be solidly conservative, I expect many of those voters to give him another look, with some downticket impact, including the governor’s race.

Add that to the plan of letting people use Grocery Stores by last name on specific days.
When Schiffhead lib has a ‘book signing’ or event, one must show ID to get in.
Add to all the other DAILY uses where an ID is required and they STILL say wanting to see an ID to vote is Racist.

I suspect that somebody clued the dumb ass in that if he did that for restaurants, he’d have to do the same thing for state government offices at all levels, movie theaters, barbers, lawyers’ offices and every other business public or private (e.g., non-profits feeding the homeless and poor) or guarantee that he’d be sued and lose.
So tired of Asterisk Inslee. He is just dumb...plain and simple. Clueless voters vote for clueless Democrats. A recent poll shows he has an approval rating of 41%. Could people actually be recovering from their stupor? Time will tell.
