I wonder if the LGBTQ curriculum that was to begin July 2020 in some states will proceed.
If that many parents actually went through with homeschooling, then cut the taxes for public schools. That would make the teacher’s union squeal like a stuck pig.
This could be huge!
Unintended consequences of the communists’ plandemic.
In addition to zoom prayer meetings, this is one of the great things the LORD is doing.
No wonder public school is really pushing to get the kids back. Look at the millions they would lose. Oh, our taxes wouldn’t fall. At least, not immediately. But in Texas, the districts get paid per student from the state for every student enrolled.
The communists didn’t think about this when they were cooking up this virus.
State run schools is pretty much the communists’ first priority.
They lose big on this one.
Some people are learning to make ends meet on just one income. It’s amazing how much one can save by not going out to eat and cutting entertainment and convenience costs.
Hopefully those who thought home schooling was financially impossible are rethinking that.
This and a baby boom. Which is going to piss off Bill Gates and his Covid-1984
Good for them!
That may be the single best take-away from this travesty.
Keep pushing this message, and the liberals will have the schools open during the summer.
If only 10% More chose homeschooling after the virus, it could be a boost to Eventual tax credits for education
yes.
two things we conservatives can do to strike a blow for liberty!
1. home school
2. get our parents out of nursing homes
Would be nice but once the public schools open many of these parents will gladly give up the not-so-easy and time-consuming work of homeschooling their kids. Besides, the NEA will use every resource and connection they have to outlaw it.
“More likely to” does not mean “plan to”. Would be nice though.
It certainly COULD!!! This new “trend” is an unintended consequence of them messing with children and (some) of them continuing to push ,push, push a hardline over opening/not opening and imposing crazy restrictions like hours per day/days per week, the list is endless for what their anal tight-assed control freak bureaucracies could come up with. This is a perfect parallel with people protesting the lockdown. And there is NOTHING ultimately they can do about it. The more they try to crack down the more we resist. And the more local cops and sheriffs that refuse to do their bidding, the more that people like Whitmer and, say, Garcetti are going to have to hang their heads, and manage to smile their way through the loss of their power.
It’s an outrage. How will they be exposed to drugs, deviant sex, bullying, mass shootings and communism in the home?
I agree! My kids didnt go to public schools and my parents will never go to a nursing home, I dont care how hard that is for me personally.
