In a Fox News interview Friday, President Trump was noncommittal on whether FBI Director Christopher Wray would remain in the job following the Justice Department’s decision to drop its case against Michael Flynn.
“Let’s see what happens with him,” the president told “Fox & Friends,” adding that “the jury’s still out” on Wray’s future in the bureau.
Trump said he would leave the decision up to Attorney General William Barr, head of the Justice Department, which oversees the FBI.
“You know, I told Bill Barr, you handle it,” the president said. “I would be absolutely entitled in theory, as the chief law enforcement officer, in theory. But I said, ‘You know what, I want Bill Barr to handle it,” adding that the attorney general “has done an unbelievable job.”
Need to 'step up'
One day earlier, Barr appeared to defend Wray during an interview with CBS News, although he claimed that both he and Wray needed to “step up” following the Flynn case.
“You know, he's been a great partner to me in our effort to restore the American people's confidence in both the Department of Justice and the FBI,” Barr said Thursday, according to the Washington Examiner. “And we work very well together. And I think both of us know that we have to step up. That it's very important to restore the American people's confidence.”

Seems like the only time for the FBI to get involved is when some part of government needs something illegal done on behalf of Rats. There can be no legitimate reason for anyone to willingly get the FBI involved in anything.
Not only should the FBI be disbanded. There building should be torn down and the ground salted so that not even a weed would grow there for 100s of years.

The FBI cannot be fixed and never should have been created. It has more in common with the Gestapo and the KGB than your local sheriff’s office. In fact, weren’t they all created at about the same damned time when Communism and Fascism where raising their ugly heads around the world, and Roosevelt and the Democrats were making hay of the US Constitution?

Amen. We need an FBI director obsessed with the Constitution, openness, cleaning out injustice & politics, promoting justice, non partisanship, and in other words the opposite of Comey and Mueller. What has Wray done to promote any of the above?
The Federal Bureau of Incrimination And Sedition is more of a danger to us than what they pretend to protect us from.

As director of the FBI he should be a leader, not a "partner."
Where is Wray's, hey AHs of the FBI, we conducted ourselves unlawfully, undermined the constitution, and broken faith with the American peopel. That stops now! Here are the rules, and I will lock this place down and you will prosecute nothing if you break those rules. And we have a mess to clean up and each of you swore an oath to uphold the law and defend the constitution. Anyone with knowledge about what evils have been conducted in this case or any other case needs to come clean now. The line forms on the left, and if you have nothing to say you will swear a statement under oath you have nothing to say. And if that oath turns out to be false you will have lied to the FBI and that is a crime for which you will be fired, charged and prosecuted."
Now, once you have come clean, or signed your sworn statement, you can go back to work.

The difference between Comey and Wray is that Comey was a corrupt ineffective bureaucrat. Wray is just an ineffective bureaucrat like so many agency leaders in Washington. Wray is not worth the President’s time. Sleazeball glory seeking Comey was worthy of being fired in disgrace by the President
I wouldn’t call either of these clowns ineffective.
Comey tied up admin resources for the past three years. Effective.
