FBI Director Christopher Wray needs to go. He should resign or be fired. He was supposed to be the solution for the beleaguered bureau. Instead, he became the problem.
During his nearly three-year tenure at the helm of the FBI, Wray has consistently defied Congress by refusing to produce documents exposing the dishonest acts of his predecessor, James Comey, and his cadre of corrupt confederates. Even worse, Wray is to blame for suppressing evidence of innocence in the criminal case against former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
Under Wray, promises of transparency and reform proved to be nothing more than an illusion, replaced by a deliberate cover-up of FBI malfeasance in the Trump-Russia investigation.

Americans are right to be fearful of the FBI. The agencys chronic abuses of law and process, together with its thuggish tactics, present a frightening example of how power corrupts.
Director Wray had the opportunity to chart a new course for the FBI in the wake of the unscrupulous and unprincipled James Comey. The vast majority of the honest and honorable agents who populate the bureau deserved a new leader who cares about truth, fairness and justice. They got Christopher Wray instead.
Former House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., was correct when he said on Sunday that America needs an FBI that we can trust. Sadly, that will never happen as long as the current director is in charge.
It is time for Wray to go one way or another.

Wray looked shifty from the word go!
Yep. The institution cannot be reformed, it needs to be dissolved.
Yup. And I specifically used the term, deep state snake. Apparently he didnt get it since, a year later, Wray is still slithering around on the seventh floor of the FBI building.

Wray was CORRECT when he said he wants to “preserve” the reputation of FBI. He just meant the current reputation established by Comey & his cabal at FBI.
Wray never said he was going to improve the FBI.

The Twitter link above reveals an email from a New York Times reporter named Mark Mazzetti to lawyers at Covington & Burling. Mazzetti is asking for a meeting with General Mike Flynn’s attorneys to discuss what the New York Times had just discovered, that Joe Pientka told IG Horowitz that Andrew McCabe ordered him to to alter the FD-302 report originally filed in the Flynn case.
The following appears to be the case:
1) Covington & Burling attorneys did not share any of this information with Flynn or the court and should face disbarment.
2) It appears this revelation from Pientka was either redacted in the Horowitz report and/or Horwitz never told anybody about it and it was found in the evidence the US Attorney assigned by Bill Barr to look at the case stumbled across.
3) The New York Times, “the paper of record”, buried the fact that a crime has been committed by McCabe by never reporting it.
4) If this is the reason that Christopher Ray fired Andrew McCabe, It means that Christopher Wray concealed the information while continuing to prosecute General Flynn for a crime he didn’t commit.
One of the implications is, of course, that they now have at least one felony on Andrew McCabe and, hopefully, he will start singing like a bird when presented with the fact he’s going to jail without his cooperation on the whole sordid mess. After all, didn’t Andrew McCabe famously state (to paraphrase) that if he “was going down, everybody else was going down with him”?
And what about Wray? If he was aware of this fact and did not advise the court as well as Flynn’s lawyers, is he also not criminally liable
If he survives the rape accusations.

The FBI doesn't need a new director. It needs to be eliminated as a Federal agency entirely. This country existed for more than 120 years without an FBI, and 95% of the "crimes" the FBI investigates shouldn't even be Federal crimes in the first place.
In what age group is your father? And what was his response?
Hillary started the coup attempt by playing for the fake dossier. Obama was on the other end approving the FISA application and 3 renewals based on unconfirmed information
Colluding is also a crime.
If these FD-302 forms were never used to prosecute anyone, then I'm not sure how any of these revelations even matter right now.
The DeeperDemos would blow up and there would be a colossal catastrophe (planned) to get rid of The General and Donald Trump.
The leaders of the coup were Hillary and Obama, Hillary had McCain’s chief of staff take the dossier to Comey because she and McCain were friends and McCain hated Trump. This let him be part of the coup. The rest is FBI (Comey and staff) and Lynch. They all belong in prison but now, after 3.5 years, it’s too late and nothing will happen.
The FBI must go. It has outlived its usefulness and become a KGB uncontrolled by the Boss.
I agree.
An FD-302 is simply a report of what an interviewee said. In this case, two FBI Agents interviewed Flynn. The interview was not recorded. One of the agents present in the interview prepared a report (an FD-302). It is alleged that two people not present during the interview, Deputy Director Andy McCabe and Attorney Lisa Page altered that 302 that was prepared by the agent who was actually there. Flynn was thereafter prosecuted for
Lying and the original interview report (302) has still not been turned over. In aprosecution for lying its pretty important to have an accurate report of what the person actually said. Altering a report, presumably to make him
Sound more guilty is pretty important when its Flynns wors against the agents who interviewed him. If true, as it seems it is, that would be obstruction of justice in my opinion. McCabe and others need to prosecuted.
