CCFR calls for Blair’s removal

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MAY 02, 2020

CCFR calls for Blair’s Removal

OTTAWA, ON -The Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights (CCFR) is calling for the immediate removal of Minister Bill Blair from the Public Safety file. Following a reading of yesterday’s regulation banning a swath of semi-automatic firearms and a briefing with officials from Public Safety, CBSA, Global Affairs, RCMP and the Department of Justice, it was made abundantly clear that the regulations were crafted in haste, and that the government has neither planned nor formulated the rest of the legislation required to implement their hastily crafted policy. As a result, the regulation is both flawed and dangerous.

During the briefing the government could not answer simple questions about the methods used for selection, why bolt action firearms were included on the list, why some shotguns are caught in the bore diameter restrictions, why some rimfire firearms are listed contrary to the selection criteria, and on and on. They also stated that the government, on behalf of the Governor in Council, has deemed the list of firearms banned as “not suitable for hunting or sport shooting”, but simultaneously provided an exemption for indigenous owners for the purpose of hunting. Further, this is contrary to the decades-long history of these very firearms being safely used for hunting and sport shooting. This entire regulation bears the mark of an irrational process done in haste, and it divides Canadians.

The CCFR further noted that some of the firearms listed in the regulation that are classified as prohibited have exactly the same specifications as other firearms not on the list. This is entirely random and proves without doubt, that the choices made were entirely political in nature. That is not a proper basis for legislation in a democracy.

There are also flaws in that no consideration has been given to firearm owners who may move residency within the amnesty period, since transporting of these prohibited firearms is not permitted.

The level of incompetence in this act by the Liberal government is astounding. As a result, we feel the Prime Minister and Canadians have been grossly under-served by the Minister and call for his immediate removal from over-seeing this process, and for the repealing of this regulation in order to consult technical experts.

In the interim, the CCFR recommends that Canadian firearm owners retain their firearms and NOT turn them in to the government. This deeply flawed process must be reversed immediately. Consultations with legal experts are ongoing.

The battle against Trudeau's draconian totalitarian gun ban begins. Blair is the federal Public Safety Minister, an ex Toronto Police Chief elitist, who failed to control armed ganga is Toronto. This is a persecution of fire arms owners with registered, permitted firearms, and gun dealer businesses who are stuck with millions of dollars of immovable inventory across Canada. All this done while the nation is cowed, unable to assemble in groups without breaking Public Health laws, under lock down due to the Wuhan virus. SHAME! Canada truly now is on its way to becoming a totalitarian state.

Maybe the one good thing that will come from all this is that Alberta will secede from Canada and become the 51st State!

Gun ownership is not a right granted by any law or even the Constitution. It is a natural right of man merely recognized by the Constitution. And yes, it is a bit frightening for our so called elected servants when We the People, the sovereign citizens they supposedly serve, are as well armed as the military, but that is the whole point, isn't it?

Of course, self defense, defense of family and hunting -- in that order -- are natural rights, too, but the primary purpose of a well armed citizenry is to strike an ongoing undercurrent of well placed fear into the hearts of our feral government servants, lest they forget who are the servants and who are the sovereigns.

Blair wasn’t any more impressive in his current position than he was as Chief of Police in Toronto.

Agreed. The right to use deadly force in of self defense is preserved in the Criminal Code of canada. But the socilaists do NOT want Cnadians to use that right.

The social engineering of Canadians away from firearm culture has been gounbg on for over 40 years. You can see what happens when a mad man gets loose , he killed 23 people, shot women, children and men in cold blood in Nova Scotia recently. Not one person drew a firearm to defend themselves or their loved ones. Several who survived ran away without even going for a gun.. They died like sheep to the slaughter. And Trudeau won’t own that. Instead he has banned permitted, registered firearms via executive order, even though those arms had no causal relationship to what happened in Nova Scotia. The murderers firearms were all unregistered and illegally obtained. There are a lot of really angry Canadians right now.

Blair tried to re-socialize armed Toronto gangs, all bearing illegal, unregistered guns. He did that rather than rounding them up and having the shoot outs happen. He would not go after them.

The criminals of Toronto laughed at him.

So much for police saying they will protect you.In Nova Scotia the RCMP were so screwed up they had a friendly fire incident at a fiore hall because two RCMP thought the murderer, who was a police imposter driving a completely tricked out bogus RCMP cruiser, was mistakenly thought to be in the fire hall.

And Trudeau wants all Cnadians to believe “ The police will protect you?”

Its so sad I can’t even laugh about it.

Trudeau is a sleazeball sneaking this in through what is likely an illegal government edict, instead of legislation. That he used Reg premise of a massacre committed by a loser with illegally possessed firearms makes him pure evil.

maybe if you put pretty daisies on all of them and make them in candy cane colors, then they will be unbanned.
