Attorney General William Barr expressed concerns in an interview on Wednesday that draconian measures to slow the spread of the coronavirus will come at the cost of freedom for the American people.
Im very concerned about the slippery slope in terms of continuing encroachments on personal liberty, Barr said. I do think during the emergency, appropriate, reasonable steps are fine.
Barr said in the Fox interview that the Justice Department will continue to track any actions that restrict peoples liberty.
The restrictions have not only limited personal freedom, but have also devastated the American economy, with millions of jobs lost and small businesses across the country folding.

I believe once the Progs realized that even Free Republic (esp. the Chicken Freepers) would go willingly into that dark night if properly frightened, they enlisted the CDC and other federal agencies in their war on liberty. Why else for the sudden shift by government agencies and “experts” from “the flu” to the IOTWAWKI?
Send the flames but Obama handled his moment better than this. Although he is probably kicking himself right now because he realizes he missed his chance to seize power via SARS. He probably didn’t know how it easy it would be.
Give me tyranny and life...please!
It didn’t take long for Progs and tyrants across the fruited plain to take a shot at the main chance. They rolled at the usual litany of experts and their model’s and proceeded to own the conservative right.

The ACLU and four citizens already filed a lawsuit against the lock downs in Puerto Rico, which was the first U.S. state or territory that implemented one.
I don’t believe a word Barr says. He has done nothing since assuming office to establish any credibility. He’s an empty suit full of hot air (just like his bagpipes).
I went to ACLU's website, and this pop-up appeared, asking for money.
Its from his interview with Laura Ingraham last night. She pressed him pretty hard on the issue. I didnt really think his replies amounted to much.
Was Maureen Robinson a baddie on Lost in Space?
...But Zachary Smith! Ha! LOL!
Well played!
Well, if he’s so concerned... DO something about it.
Koresh and the kids are away from the phone currently.
Amen! An AG who know at least some USConstitution.
“Deeming”: Where is that in the Constitution?
Or is it just Governor Tyrants whi DEEM?
That has been my observation, they used this to terrify the Gen X Karen types and Millennial to a lesser extent, who panicked and said “Please think of the children” and begged for more restrictions to save their kids. I have yet to see that level of panic in Gen Z.
“..This may be the first shot across the bow of any state governor...”
One would hope so. But I’m not putting money on it.
Hope I’m wrong.
Mostly Q advocates, but they are fiercely telling us to follow the plan. In other Q news Alex Jones promised to out Q on last Wednesday so he is al least as dependable as Barr.
