Constitutional Lawyer Edwin Vieira explains the history and legal structure of the Federal Reserve System. Intro by Wall Street legend Victor Sperandeo

Epoch Times: Mr. Sperandeo and Mr. Vieira, you are the two co-authors of “Crash Maker,” an almost 1,500-page-long book, dealing with the Federal Reserve, an unstable financial system and gold. Why don’t we kick off talking about the book for a bit and recap themes still pertinent in today’s market and society.

Victor Sperandeo: This book from 2000 is about a villain and it’s written as a fictional book. The villain is the chairman of the Federal Reserve Board. It tries to show in an allegoric form that this position is so powerful; if someone were very intelligent but yet corrupt they could do substantial harm to the citizens of the United States.

I realized the Fed was unconstitutional when I understood they were creating money, yet they were outside of the control of the Executive, who controls the Treasurer.

But this is a different argument, that the Federal government interfers in private commerce.

Andrew Jackson killed the Second Bank of the United States.
If Donald Trump can kill the Fed he will really deserve that place on Mt Rushmore.

Thanks for posting this. It wasn’t that long ago when posting articles such as this on FR invited ridicule and eventual banning. It’s good to see people finally opening their eyes.

No.

Nor is federal income tax.

Nor is most gun regulation.

Nor is spying on or tracking citizens without person-specific, criminal investigation-related, judge-approved cause.

And there’s so much much more!

Most of the federal government is unconstitutional.

Not that it matters since both parties abrogated the Constitution on Usurpation Day, January 20, 2009.

I have the original edition (1983, single volume, signed) of Dr. Vieria's Pieces of Eight. It is quite simply the best monetary history of the United States that I am aware of.

A governor’s decree ending my freedom of religious worship, my freedom of association or my freedom to buy a gun or ammo, without martial law, isn’t Constitutional? Wut?

The Constitution clearly says Congress sets the value of a dollar and can coin money. A private bank was given the authority to set the value of a dollar (they “print” as many as they want, and it is literally tied to nothing)
And in the rare times the president or congress tries to say a thing about any Fed actions, the world freaks out because the “independent” Fed is being interfered with by evil political leaders who’s motives are never as pure as those of an international banking cartel.

Who could ever think THAT was unconstitutional?

(But I don’t think Jefferson, Madison, or Adams would think it was smart OR constitutional)

Oh, and by the way, with their wonderful sense of humor, the US government utterly *freaks out* at the idea of counterfeiting.

The biggest counterfeiters ever was North Korea. And they made as many as 250 Million of super notes (extremely high quality copies).
The total amount of counterfeiting is an absolutely minuscule percentage of the counterfeit firehose sprayed out by the fed.

I suppose they chase counterfeiters because they always have. But some poor goober with a copier machine is a piker compared to Fed.
