ok, jokes aside.
1. Social distancing - I doubt in a friendly, independent-minded society like the USA you can improve it much
2. yes, effective treatment is possible
3. Preventative medicine - looks like very possible
4. Vaccines - I’m guessing by December

a lot of people don’t want to take precautions and attack those who do. Instead of pain for 6 weeks, they will cause the pain to last 6 months.
Okay, so if you "don't want to be held to that", why say anything? (And how should we interpret this prediction in the context of the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic, which the CDC says killed 675,000 in the US, when the US population was 1/3 of its present size?)
I respect Dr Fauci’s opinion and years of experience but hopefully he’s wrong and way overestimating the # of future infections.
It’s a fact that “it could happen”.
I think we are all hoping he is wrong. But I see no evidence that he is so far.

LOL, must be the weekend. During the week we see all the fear and panic being tapped down by presentations of the facts and the steps being taken to combat the virus.
Then the weekend comes and our fear mongering POS media hits it hard with the death counts and “abandon all hope” drum beat.
Yup, this is not the flu. This is serious. I am not debating that.
But I am also holding fast that we are overreacting based on no data and a bunch of “could” “if” and “assumption.”
One thing is for sure, our media is pure evil scum and needs some rearranging after this is over (which they will never let it be).
