In a stunning announcement amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Justice Department plans to announce Thursday that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and other government officials have been charged with turning Venezuela into a narco-state by collaborating with a leftist Colombian guerrilla group that exported tons of cocaine to the United States.
An indictment, to be unveiled at a virtual news conference in Washington, D.C., accuses Maduro and other top officials in his socialist regime of conspiring with the U.S.-designated terrorist group known as the FARC so that Venezuela could be used for narcotics shipments to finance a long-running civil war against the Colombian government.
Charged along with Maduro are Diosdado Cabello, a former speaker of the National Assembly who is considered the second most powerful political figure in Venezuela, and Vladimir Padrino Lopez, the countrys minister of defense. All three Venezuelan officials face allegations of narco-terrorism, drug trafficking and weapons violations in a scheme initiated in the mid-2000s that was meant to help the Colombian rebel group while enriching themselves with cocaine-tainted bribes, according to federal authorities.

I never understood what legal standing the DOJ ever had to prosecute foreign leaders like this. To be frank, I really lost a lot of respect for the first Bush administration over that whole Manuel Noriega fiasco.

Although Noriega was indicted a year and a half earlier, the US only invaded Panama after Noriega’s troops killed an American soldier.

Partner, there is one man who likes Maduro and that is Raul Castro who is the main man supporting Maduro the former municipal bus driver.
Also, Raul Castro who happens to be the leader of Cuba has around 50,000 known Castro/Cuban Secret Police who will prop up Madero, since they are paid by oil currency and other tax money from the Venezuelan folks.
The previous leader Chavez took off with around $7 Billion dollars from the Venezuelan treasury. This is why the Chavez family is not welcomed in their country because of their dirty $$$$.
Production of oil in Venezuela has gone down considerably to around 400,00 to 500,000 Barrels of oil per day from a previous high of around 4 Million barrels of oil a day.
As you can see I am not a fan of Maduro nor the current Communist hard liner Raul Castro of Cuba. I am told by the Cuban community that Raul Castro who really is a hard line Communist leader is a worst leader than his brother who was Fidel Castro. I meant to say is Raul Castro is a real communist hard line leader and he has no sympathy whatsoever of anybody that goes against the Communist way of thinking.

Is it strange to anyone else besides me that when it comes to doling out justice to other countries our DOJ is on it but when the crimes are committed here by the elitists it is not pursued.

Maduro: “Yeah, what about it?”
If there was going to be a Coup, it would have happened last summer. That opportunity for regime change was missed.
I suspect he was tipped off.

This had better not be a prelude to an invasion to “bring him to justice.”
