President Trumps job approval rating has jumped by 5 points in the latest Gallup survey, matching the high point of his presidency, as a majority of voters say they have a positive view of how the president has handled the coronavirus pandemic.
The new poll finds Trumps job approval rating at 49 percent, up from 44 percent in the same survey earlier this month. The 49 percent job approval rating is the high mark for Trump since he came into office. He first hit that mark in late January, shortly before he was acquitted by the Senate in his impeachment trial.
The presidents job approval rating has remained steady among Republicans (92 percent), but hes gained 8 points among independents (43 percent) and 6 points among Democrats (13 percent).
It appears that Trumps handling of the coronavirus response is behind the approval rating bump. SIXTY PERCENT of voters overall said they approve of the job Trump is doing to address the epidemic, including 94 percent of Republicans, 60 percent of independents and 27 percent of Democrats.

Where’s Joe Biden in all this? That’s all you need to know.
“27 percent of Democrats.”
Well, he shot down the Nancy Pelosi dim Fantasy Bill.
They disapprove of the good job he is doing for the country.
But what about the media narrative, that Trump has mishandled the crisis? What about the narrative that Trump is not listening to the doctors? Etc.
The media bashing isn’t hurting Trump in the polls? But this crisis was supposed to be the liberals latest chance to take down Trump.
So people dont believe the media??
So people dont believe the media??............................never did...................
I think you can add a few more points to the % due to people not wanting the hassle of being falsely shamed.
In other words, there are social media monsters out there, even among family and friends, who would pitch a fit if you came out in public in favor of Trump, so you just keep it to yourself.
Seriously, a bunch of these people, in the privacy of the voting booth, are not going to pull the lever for Creepy Joe.
Today’s Silent Majority.
IMHO, when looked at via each candidate's base, it's a Trump lead, not a Biden one.

He's hiding, of course.
Where is Hitlary? Is she planning yet ANOTHER run at the presidency? Lol. This is getting entertaining.
My guess is Biden has locked himself in the bathroom again. He might not realize he is actually in the bathroom.
Its unchanged (at 0 percent) among journalists.
Nancy trying to get her radical wish list on the aid bill is not lost on people. MSM tried their best to put lipstick on it but even their deluded based could see it was just too much. A really tone deaf move. I hope there has been enough Nancy behaving badly moments now to cost the rats the house.
If the journalists had the option to give him a negative percentage they would.
Random sample of adults. Not even registered voters.
The press conferences are being covered live in their entirety unfiltered and people are witnessing the stupid questions being asked - like asking about someone supposedly saying “Kung Flu” and asking the President of the United States to comment on it. It could be opening more eyes as to just who the press truly is.
Dopey Joe is gonna be replaced by Gov. Andrew Cornuto (D-NY).
Cuomo e davvero un cornuto.
Cool, more fake polling.
“It’s unchanged(at 0%) among ‘journalists’”
Tru Dat !
Trump is good at this. He probably won’t be running against Bernie but he is somehow managing to pull off making this a debate between paid to work v paid to stay home.
I think you are right - instead of weekly Trump MAGA rallies with tens of thousands attending, it is now daily MAGA briefings with tens of millions watching.
The MSM just cant keep the President under wraps.
