And they keep wanting to believe that this hoaxdemic is for real.

This whole charade was nothing more than to hang PDJT and to remove MORE of our liberties.

I am fed up with the dems and deep state operatives. Time for a real virus eradication if there ever was one

It’s because they can’t count.

I have been posting this like mad all over FB.

It’s appalling how many Americans are willingly surrendering their 1A rights in exchange for a little virtue signaling.

Now we’re supposed to stand on our porches at 8 pm every night and clap like trained seals.

If you’re not happy with 2019-2020 *estimates*, perhaps you will like the 2018-2019 season totals: 35,000 dead from the flu in America alone.

Compare and contrast.

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

You may be willing to live your life in a defensive crouch and throw your 1A rights away; but, I can’t allow you to surrender *my* rights.

Do you have more accurate numbers?

Please post from a primary source. We’ll wait.

When they’ve figured out a way to test enough people to come up with an accurate denominator I’ll get back to you. Sometime in 2022 probably.

and no-one so much as blinks.

ironically, from the CDC page:

The number of hospitalizations estimated so far this season is lower than end-of-season total hospitalization estimates for any season since CDC began making these estimates

Are these numbers including the coronavirus which is considered flu like symptoms? If so, the coronavirus would account for half the deaths (total dead 16,411 vs overall total of 29,000-59,000) at a less exposed rate (375,000 vs overall total of 17,000,000-54,000,000). Erroring on the side of caution with these numbers, taking the higher dead rate or the CDC numbers (59K) and the lower exposure rate (17M), it shows that the chances of you dying of the ordinary flu is .003 versus the coronavirus .04. So you're almost 10 times more likely to die of this than the flu.

And I'm being VERY generous in this example. The number is most likely much higher.

The only reason there aren't more dead (besides countries no longer reporting deaths) is the aggressive work of our health care system. Based on the CDC numbers, it shows this is a VERY deadly virus.

And they keep wanting to believe that this hoaxdemic is for real.

This is where I thought from the beginning we were sensationalizing it. It's a very real epidemic...just like the flu every year is a very real epidemic.

As Brit Hume pointed out yesterday or the day before, as the number of cases goes up, many already in existence only just diagnosed, the more the ultimate casualty lists approach that of the flu.

Where will it lead? Who knows?

I do know you can't erase a nation to accommodate it. Furthermore, the saturation in coverage will begin to bore people to tears. That will be when we know the epidemic has run its course.

Does that make them lower than 16,600 *worldwide*?

Worldwide means countries other than the US are included in the counting. Even Italy.

And we still can’t get to half of the 2018-2019 flu deaths.

Sometimes I think this may all be a training exercise for a possible future bioterrorist attack.

The CDC is a dead letter.

These are the same clowns who are supposed to KNOW about disease, but sat on their hands while MILLIONS of illegals poured into the US

NOT ONE of the CDC creeps EVER opened his mouth about the likelihood of contagion with the movement of that many people, and wholly without oversight.

Nothing the CDC says means anything any more.

They are complete idiots and have NO moral or professional standing.

But none dare call the flu a “pandemic”, while the lesser curse, Cov-19, is called a “pandemic”.

“It’s because they can’t count.”

No. It’s because what data, and descriptions, are and are not required to be reported, not just to the CDC but to state agencies that try to monitor the data. Try to get the number of influenza caused deaths - seasonal flu - in just New York state. They don have it; it is not required to be reported as such. The only flu death data NY state has is on flu deaths for pediatric patients.

Yet, somehow, everyone is reporting actual data for Cov-19, while so much of the influenza data is squeezed out from between the lines of what is actually reported.

From what I’ve read it seems that many (perhaps most) of those unfected with the Chinese virus are asymptomatic. They have no symptoms at all and don’t even register to themselves as sick. So the actual numbers of fatalities compared to the total number infected is likely much, much smaller than the flu. We’ll never know until we can test everyone for antibodies to the Kung Flu. Then we’ll be able to get the denominator correct.

primary source I use is this.https://www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly/#S2
The flu season is week 40 to the next year 39. Click on data and there is an excel spread sheet of data.

Unfortunately even though it’s from the CDC it doesn’t agree with other CDC “estimates” which seem to be higher.

In any case the season normally has fluctuations from single digit deaths per week to as high as over 1000 deaths per week during the year. In the bad flu year of 2017-2018 we reached 1,698 deaths in one week in the US. We’re no where near that now.

I don’t like the CDC web site at all. It’s full of extraneous self serving information.
