The social justice set has been shrieking about lives being at risk for almost a decade. But now that were faced with actual devastation to the human way of life, it becomes clear that it was always only rhetoric. Social justice is the culture that cried wolf.
Now that lives are truly at risk as a result of a global pandemic, quick action is being implemented in North America to protect our most vulnerable. Instead of supporting these common sense, ideally temporary changes, required to get through this unprecedented time, the church of social justice is actually jealous of coronavirus. It turns out that no one was ever going to die from being misgendered or experiencing a microaggression. Imagine that.
Now, think pieces abound as to how the coronavirus is misogynist, because more women are at home and stuck doing the domestic labour, or transphobic, since trans affirming surgeries have been postponed or outright cancelled. And now the story is that it took the coronavirus pandemic to show us how quickly we could changeif only we really wanted to.
In the Toronto Star, Gender and Race columnist Shree Paradkar writes: So! This is what radical change looks and feels like How swiftly the machinery can move when it cares about the lives at risk.
Correction, Ms. Paradkar, this is how fast the machinery can move when there are actual lives at risk. Theres a huge difference between a minority portion of the population predicting gloom and the end times whether it be religious doomsday cults or Extinction Rebellionand a global pandemic that crashes across borders.

What do you mean by bottom transition surgery is considered non-essential?!?
No sex change operations and no abortions are making the SJWs a little bit GRUMPY these days!
*SNORT*
Yeah millennials a group blow goats - we asked to do the one thing they are good at sit around and watch netflix and and they couldn’t even do that. I don’t know if people saw what Michael Dell said but he isn’t a fan of this group I suspect. I will probably go out of my way to hire above or below that group agewise.
“Social” “Justice” is neither.
I’ve yet to meet a millennial that’s worth a damn.
Sloth is a luxury only during times of plenty
Really?
I know lots of them, including my sons.
My experience is different. I work with about a half dozen millenials and they are superb, but then they were hand picked. One of the most conservative, voted for Bernie in the last election. I asked what caused the transition to being a conservative. She quickly replied, "I got a job and realized that the my old beliefs did not work."
What's a fella supposed to do without a front hole?
Good point. In crisis situations, we dont have the time or patience with nonsense.
And there will be a real face crisis if Pelosi misses out on her next botox treatment.
Toronto Star? “Gender and Race” column/ist”? As I recall, the Toronto Star could have been called the “Red Star”, for decades.
Can some of our Canadian readers enlighten us about this paper?
I don’t pay any attention to the new age crapola when it comes to describing different groups.
They are men or women, boys or girls, reasonably intelligent or stupid as a stone.
So the question; what exactly is a millennial?
What demographic?
LOL!!
Hmm you are correct of course and stereotypes by definition breakdown on individual basis as mechanism of generalization; however, my experience who is a millennial would be like 19 to 36. A couple minutes of casual conversation usually exposes that cocky attitude that accompanies unchallenged propaganda filled beliefs that make them then cynics of Americanism and arrogant socal justice sit on their entitled ass warriors. Now i just call them stupid and lazy to their face if the social setting is appropriate which lately is most of the time. Bunch of losers about 60 40 and I’m not sure which number is the percentage of good ones. I’m lots of fun
-——Gender and Race columnist Shree Paradkar-——
We must thank God we are American and not Canadian and subjected to such a claptrap propagandist
