Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard has announced the end to her campaign following continued low placement in national polls, a weak finish during Super Tuesday and subsequent contests and failing to meet the thresholds to participate in the most recent series of Democratic National Committee sponsored debates.
The Hawaii congresswoman announced her bid in January 2019. By the time of her departure from the race, the once diverse field of candidates dwindled leaving Gabbard the last person of color, veteran and millennial seeking a bid for the White House.

Rep. Gabbard was a breath or fresh air on the Democrat side. She is far to the left in most of her positions, to far to the left. However, she and Yang were the only Democrat candidates that, from where I sit, neither hated the country like Sanders, nor held the common citizenry in contempt like Biden, Warren, etc...
She gets credit for that. No a chance I hell I would vote for her to be dogcatcher, but she does get some credit.
And once she bitch-slapped Hillary it was all over for her.

Tulsi Gabbard’s strategy seems to have been to hang around long enough to win the six delegates from American Somoa, which would have kept her on the debate stage beyond Super Tuesday when most other candidates dropped out.
Reasonable plan, but one that did not account for Michael Bloomberg’s entry into the race. Bloomberg’s campaign sputtered but he managed to deny Gabbard a clean sweep in Somoa which made it much easier for the DNC to continue to ignore her.
Its unfortunate really...Gabbard and Sanders tag teaming Uncle Joe Biden during last Sunday’s debate would have been a spectacle worth watching.
She can’t be in any more debates. Her only hope was for Biden and Sanders to both drop dead before the convention.
I’d have to say the odds are decent that between Hillary, SlowJoe, and Burney, one of them could croak from Corona.
