Let’s get Real, America! The 10-year immigration moratorium give our real immigrants a decade to assimilate or leave.

This should be part of a Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement bill, missing since 1986 ONE TIME amnesty. The List of Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement, missing since 1986 goes like this -

1) southern barrier;
2) require eVerify to hire;
3) end all chain migration;
4) birthright per Minor v. Happersett (plural parents);
5) end work visas;
6) 10-year moratorium on all new applications for citizenship (40 years to allow workplace automation effects on downsizing population);
7) Set up an illegal aliens’ victim restitution fund.

Enactment of these provisions will motivate illegal aliens to SELF-deport, and remove colonizadors from our welfare rolls.

No. This "melting pot" is the classic Trojan Horse, in disguise.

And we've failed on so many levels, we can't be fixed.

Millions of people have recognized this for a long time and in 2016 we voted "enough is enough".

Here's something else where the writer and his source are very, very late:

Pew Research documents that there are nearly 11 million illegal immigrants in our country.

Nearly? And they've been using that number for 20 years. I'd bet there are AT LEAST 30 million illegals in our country, maybe more.

the United States is a nation of many different types of people.

that requires the people to accept and agree with the same principles in order to continue to exist:

- the spiritual is supreme
- rejection of statism and tyranny
- inalienable natural rights are God-given
- governments are God-ordained institutions organized by man to protect and preserve natural rights
- limited government
- decentralized government
- equality, by God’s gift before God and the law
- life, and pursuit of happiness
- liberty against statism and tyranny
- private property = liberty’s support
- taxes – limited to safeguard liberty
- the majority – limited to safeguard liberty

The melting pot has become a pressure cooker.

"...a mosaic dystopia..."

Those never seem to be "fragile". They last and last.

We are not blending in as immigrants used to. Today it is always some other country or continent first and American second. The people coming here for the most part do not want to learn English or assimilate

The Balkanization of America.

Well put. The Left has encouraged diversity and Balkanization instead of assimilation and national unity for political reasons. Many on the right have gone along with it for economic reasons.

Cultural pressures were bound to build up.

We need to shut down all immigration now. We don’t need it. If we don’t, we are going to become a Third World socialist state. Of course, the Republican Party will, at best, be a local party, of no national significance. And the old America a memory.

There is no “melting pot.” We were fed that in elementary school, and we believed it. The moment anyone arrives at our shores, the democrats place them in a special group, and designate it as a victim group.

It encourages them to keep their language, their headdresses, their costumes, their superstitions, their aptitude towards crime. Then the democrats tell them to blame their troubles on Republicans.

“The destruction of the US was planned way back under Hart-Celler in 1965. “

And Uncle Ted promised it wouldn’t affect our culture when that was the intent. It’s interesting to see who promoted it.

I would add “Speak English” to that list.

Nothing like a common language to unite peoples of different races, religions and color.

The destruction of the US was planned way back under Hart-Celler in 1965.

It actually goes back almost 100 years to the folks at the Frankfurt School - Critical Theory, Long March through the Institutions, etc.

The trends at work today did start a century ago, but that was when the Frankfurt School were still at school and in Germany. Adorno and company were a bad influence, but they can't be held responsible for everything that's happened.

It’s a melting pot because low IQ males can’t keep it in their pants!

America never was a “melting pot”. Nor is it a mosaic. It is, instead, a “gumbo pot”, where multiple ingredients interact and are changed by the other ingredients to produce a harmonious whole, with the ingredients retaining some of their original character, yet modified by the other ingredients.
