So I'm hearing from various news sources, President Trump would like a Tax Holiday for payroll taxes, but RATs likely won't go along. Now it's being suggested he delay collecting taxes (due April 15) and delay it til later in the year; AND not charge a penalty if you don't pay all your 2019 taxes by April 15th either. Kinda puts a twist on choosing what laws to enforce !!!
PS - All this is to help stimulate the economy
Nov 1 would be interesting. Then people can go vote on how they feel about paying those taxes.
It shouldn’t be delayed and there should be no late payment penalty forgiveness.
Everybody plays by the rules or none do. Like we said with the student loans.
Many have filed already.

The virus may be keeping people from getting info to their filer ie CPA. Like me. I am feeling poorly and can’t get into town right now.
Regardless, I like it when the gov’t looks after “the people”. I worked for gov’t for yrs and often thought “Why does gov’t always always do harmful things to the people? They never seem interested in helping the people” I was a kid when I thought this. But it was really true when O was president. Remember all those regulations he put on us. So oppressive. The gov’t should make it easier for the people. O was wrong!
