CDC is corrupt. Time to investigate and inflitrate.
CDC is a part of the government. What did she expect? Competence?
Her comments are correct, we are the test dummies either out of their incompetence at best or sheer gross negligence at worst. The idea she went out of her way doing the right thing and contacting the CDC after showing symptoms after leaving Italy, that the CDC said she posed no risks shows they are not prepared like she said.
CDC is a part of the government. What did she expect? Competence?
It is a sad and cautionary tale that may possible explain exponential growth in the next few weeks.
I truly hope this is a one-off situation—But even if it is, all on the plane with her from NY to FL are now facing potential infection (as are those with whom they are in contact), and yet they don’t even know it because CDC did not intervene:(

I sure hope the folks who think Trump or his supporters are reading the threads here are correct! IMHO Trump needs to do some house cleaning at the CDC.
My 10yo daughter here in Berlin said they must wash their hands after every class.
Housecleaning or burn it to the ground? Most of those government agencies are filled with liberal anti- American wackjobs.
And I suspect Germany will have lower rates than US in the final analysis.
South Korea has drive-thru testingfor the virus, and yet our CDC has just now gotten act together regarding local testing and kits...

Yeah understood...In January there were numerous ones about Corona beer, but they don’t seem so humorous now :(
After hearing this story and the other stories of how almost every state is getting new cases daily, it’s like the CDC is purposely “seeding” the country with this for it’s inevitable spread. Without a country wide quarantine initially we have not contained this and this is just the beginning.
Some people will do anything for job security.
If they get infected there goes that job security, lol.
