Entitled Millennial Repeatedly Called 911 Because Parents Kicked Her Off Phone Plan
The Western Journal ^ | February 29, 2020 | Natalie Morrison

That was the case in Canton, Ohio, where a woman made multiple calls to 911. The emergency? Her parents decided to stop making payments on her cellphone.

Some people in their 30s might be hesitant to advertise the fact that their parents are footing the bill for their cellphone. That was not the case here.

She did get charged with a felony.

When I was in my early 20's, the hot water heater decided to blow while my parents were on vacation. Not knowing what to do, I called 911. The told me it was okay, despite the scaring noises it was making, to go ahead and shut off the valve.

I'm still embarrassed over that call.

But this woman--some people absolutely have no shame.

If she was kicked off the parent’s plan, how was she able to call 911?

This has to be her - Lord, she’s a real estate agent. Let that sink in...

911 calls will work on a phone without a plan.

I think her sister tried to sell our house.

After six months with almost no showings and a couple of offers that were way low we complained to the Reality. We had found a property we liked in our new area and did not want to see it get away.

We got a new agent and the place was sold in five days for asking.

All cell phones, even if they've been "deactivated", can call 911, it's required by law https://www.techwalla.com/articles/can-you-use-an-old-cell-phone-to-make-a-911-call

If this is her, you mean to tell me she can’t pay a cell phone bill?

OMG. I’m sure it is her. It’s not as if her name is Jennifer Williams or Lauren Smith.

I wonder if a person can lose their real estate license after a felony conviction.

I doubt Keller Williams would want her working for them even if she somehow retained her license by pleading down to a misdemeanor.

I wouldn’t even buy a mobile home in a run down trailer court from a real estate agent who doesn’t pay for her own cell phone.

Ironic that she specializes in luxury homes!
Are her parents failing to support her in the manner which she was raised in?
This is the “economic outpatient care” the authors of Millionaire Next Door referred to.

From what I’ve read she cites a bunch of ADHD type things to claim she’s a victim.

Ha ha! I once called 911 to report a hot air balloon that was being twisted and turned, violently by the wind. I saw it happening about a half mile away, out of my bedroom window. As the operator took my information, I looked more closely at the crisis. To my horror, it was just a huge advertising balloon at a nearby car dealership!! Totally embarrassing as I fessed up to her.

Today I ran out to drop off my rent check, mail a Netflix DVD, and stopped at McDonald’s to get a breakfast sandwich and some coffee. I went inside instead of going through the drive-thru. The young kid who waited on me must have been new, because he had to ask somebody if they served hash browns during the day. I told him that they better have hash browns because I didn’t want to have to call
911 about it. At least he got the joke.
