Not counting numismatic value, it would have taken about 10,000,000,000 (10 billion) of those 100 trillion Zimbabwe dollar notes, iow, ZWD 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.00 in currency to exchange for a US dollar, by the time Zimbabwe abandoned its own currency.

No, actually, you are wrong. Sanders is a bona fide communist. He might possibly shade a bit on the spectrum to the less scary sounding socialism, which allows some level of private property, but he is essentially communist. Communists like Sanders really are updates to the ancient feudal system where the lord owns everything and the serfs just work the land and owe everything except subsistence necessities to the lord. Communists want to be at the top of the modern feudal society.
We may as well pay for it with carved coconut shells and pretty pebbles we find on the beach!

The entire military budget currently is $700 Billion. Bernie’s crazy ideas are currently running at over $60 Trillion. But hey, we won’t quibble and nickle and dime about just tens of Trillions right?
