... Every one of the partys presidential candidates has a robust climate action agenda.
It is a rare area in this primary where candidates are marching mostly to the same beat. They almost universally support a Green New Deal. They all vow to immediately reenlist the U.S. in the Paris accord to fight global warming.
The differences lie in how far, how fast and how much to spend. We break down where they stand and what climate policy would look like under the vision offered by each of the Democratic hopefuls.
Former Vice President Joe Biden unveiled a bold $1.7-trillion plan for climate action that belies his brand of incremental progressivism. It doesnt go as far as some of his rivals, but the Biden vision is hardly incremental.
Former New York Mayor Michael R. Bloombergs environmental agenda, does not advocate for a ban on fracking and would establish a moratorium on, instead of completely ban, all new fossil fuel leases on federal land.
Former Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Ind., takes a more measured approach to reaching net zero emissions than some of his more progressive rivals.
The environmental vision of U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii is aggressive but also incomplete.
Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar is running as a moderate alternative to the progressive firebrands in the race. As such, her climate plans are more modest than those of some of her rivals.
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders prides himself on advancing the most far-reaching and aggressive plans in several major policy areas. Climate is no exception.
California billionaire Tom Steyer launched his political career as a climate activist. It has been quite a rebranding.
Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warrens climate plan is very much in step with her broader brand. It calls for big government investment.

I wouldn’t be surprised if more liberal propaganda gets posted on FR than any other site on the Internet.
How about they all reduce their carbon footprint by offing themselves
How about a simple question, please point to one undeniable example of the oceans rising? Has it risen at Obama’s beachfront, at Battery Park in NYC, in Key West, at the Santa Monica Pier?
They all will do the Chicken Little Act...”The Sky is Falling”.....and nothing will change in their lives...but they’ll sure want to change our lives.......
Well Don Quixote, since that windmill is a mirage, your tilt will have no effect.
Easy! Make the taxpayers give more money to the gubmint, then have the complicit media tell us that everything is now under control.
So California is outlawing the installation of natural gas in new housing developments.
?
Go figure.
Excellent!
Hating Trump solves everything.
Taxes! Duh!
By buying huge (multiple) houses and flying around in private jets.
When “they” stop doing these two things, I will take them seriously.
With words, it’s all they’ve got. You can’t correct something that you can’t prove is happening.

Their words and YOUR money.
Trump brings industry back from the third world and commie hellholes that belch pollution into the air like there's no tomorrow...
When here - in the United States - OUR industry produces jobs for Americans and production takes place HERE in facilities that are the cleanest in the world.
The same factory in China would spew a thousand times the pollution than an equal plant in the Untied States.
Coronavirus is already taking care of population concerns.
How many will be dead before it is stopped?
Also- “Climate Change” is longer term...EVEN IF it is a problem at all.
Coronavirus is right here-—RIGHT NOW.
How about a simple question, please point to one undeniable example of the oceans rising? Has it risen at Obamas beachfront, at Battery Park in NYC, in Key West, at the Santa Monica Pier>”””””
ICE has 9% MORE volume than the water it takes to make the ICE.
IF some frozen water melts, it will create 9% less VOLUME.
Ask any plumber-—who know what happens when pipes freeze in your house.
“....YOUR money.”
You must have missed the memo a few years ago, the money briefly in your possession is not yours. You don’t earn it, and you shouldn’t have it.
As Obama said, “”If you’ve got a businessyou didn’t build that and successful citizens owed their success partly to public infrastructure and government spending, and that they should contribute to finance public goods.”
You fool you, thinking that those 60 hour work weeks and financial gambles that more paid off than less were not the main contribution to the success of raising money for their taxes. Face it, you don’t count in the scheme of their things. Shame on you you greedy person.

The ONLY thing that is certain is that it will take LOTS of taxpayer cash!
