Most farmers are conservative. Libs will listen to this and nod as though he didn’t say anything they didn’t already know.

Don’t forget meteorology, hydrology, etc...

Or the trade skills: mechanic, machinist, carpenter, electrician...

Successful farmers are really Renaissance men and women.

“If you show up with cancer & you’re 95 years old, we should say...there’s no cure, we can’t do anything...A young person, we should do something. Society’s not willing to do that, yet.”

That is EXACTLY what the British say to elderly patients. They never say they won’t treat you because of the cost, they’ll say “We’re sorry, nothing can be done”.

I read the above probably 15 years ago and was hoping to forget about it...not anymore!

Great video. This guy is typical of almost every New Yorker I’ve ever known. The place hasn’t produced a single thing of value since Donald Trump was born, and yet they think they know everything about how the things they import from other places are produced.

He does appear to have too much baggage to be a viable candidate in the GE. But with a hoard of delegates under his control, he can wield king-making power at a brokered convention.

You don't blow upwards of 2 billion dollars of your own pocket change to become a kingmaker at a convention. You can do that for A LOT less in donations.

Strangely, the liberals believe their own PR; Trump is unliked by all, no one will ever vote for him, and the lingering stain of impeachment will turn those pesky Republicans against him.

That's how a guy who bans Big Gulps thinks.

It reminds me of Ed Koch making a comment about “the sterile suburbs” in his failed gubernatorial primary against Mario the Pious.

I think you are 100 per cent correct.

He is an odious candidate. The radical left dems would form a new party rather than support this guy. He has far less appeal than Hillary or any of the other dem candidates, and he must realize it.

However he has spent over 300 million as of now. He is buying delegates. He is monopolizing all the political talent and airtime he can muster. So, he cannot be king but he is setting himself up to be kingmaker.

Who does he want to install? Not Bernie. Warren? She is damaged goods now, a billion dollars will not reflate her. The tiny mayor Pete? Maybe. Klobuchar? She will not survive much longer. Biden is down for the count. Of the rest of them Tulsi would make the best showing against Trump but I don't think Bloomberg could buy her.

That leaves whom? Hillary? Michelle? Oprah? John Kerry? Al Gore? Al Sharpton? Al Green? Colin Kapernick? I have been reading for years about how thin the dem bench is. There you have it.

Bloomburg said that? Do we have it on video? If so, there is hope to defeat him.

He will be buying support literally and using his $$$ to shut down opposition.

I expect Hillary to eventually line up with Bloomburg....since she can so easily be bought.

Yes, he said it. Per ‘catnipman’ in this thread:

I think what more and more people are becoming aware of is the strangeness of political class...and the people that run cover for them.
they are strange beings who live away from the rest of us..they do not function like us..
they are not “hands on” they do not use tools..other than a ink pen...
many of them are not “brains on”..that is they even have other people who do their thinking for them...called Staffers.
They don’t cook for themselves.
Rarely shop for themselves.
They don’t clean the bathroom sink.
Do laundry.
Someone else watches their children.
They don’t even drive a car.

But they know what is best for the people who do all that stuff?

If he becomes the candidate, the media will bury anything that is negative, and begin painting a false picture of him for the ignorant public to absorb.

By the time of the election, his image will be of a tall, fearless, intelligent, consistent, uncorrupt statesman.

Some people become fabulously rich through hard work, planning, and intelligence. There is a name for them. We call them “Conservatives”.

Some people become fabulously rich through luck. There is a name for them, too. We call them “Liberals”.

Bloomberg obviously fits in the latter category. It’s clear from this observation, and many others, that he and ‘intelligence’ are not close friends.
