Charging that so-called “sanctuary” cities that protect illegal immigrants are jeopardizing domestic security, Attorney General Bill Barr announced a slew of additional sanctions that he called a “significant escalation” against left-wing local and state governments that obstruct the “lawful functioning of our nation’s immigration system.”
Speaking at the National Sheriffs Association 2020 Winter Legislative and Technology Conference in Washington, D.C., Barr said the Justice Department would immediately file multiple lawsuits against sanctuary jurisdictions, and implement new national reviews of left-wing sanctuary governments and prosecutors.
“The department is filing a complaint against the State of New Jersey seeking declaratory and injunctive relief against its laws that forbid state and local law enforcement from sharing vital information about criminal aliens with DHS,” Barr said.

I never thought I would live at a time when we had such a wonderful president, that actually takes care of the American people and has common sense.
Bill Barr with the big cajones. How’s that Blumberg and Peelousie? The swamp is drying slowly but surely.
Cities and States have no latitude to ignore or flout Federal Law, especially with regard to National Sovereignty and Immigration Laws.
Arrest entire senates and legislatures that voted for those federally illegal "laws".
Hmmm. This should prove interesting.
I think that if they simply make an example of a few policemen or teachers or anyone else who is derelict in their duties, and they incur the legal costs of defending themselves and the risk to their careers, and possibly going to jail, the problem would be quickly solved.
Quarantine them. Send all illegals to them. Cut federal aid to them now that they have a growing supply of cheap labor.
Also stop our federal tax dollars to these sh##holes

I live in Mexico. I post in Mexico. My neighbor 60 years away borrowed a 22 calibre rifle from a neighbor. It was presumed he would go hunting squirrel. He shot one bullet in the forehead, and killed another friend who insulted his uncle.
The perpetrator of the crime fled to the USA, lives in San Bernadino, got his working papers, and married there. He came back to town in Mexioc under cover of night, and got his Mexican wife pregnant, and left at dawn. Now he goes to the U.S. Embassy to prove citizenship and rights for deductions on his pay check.
Never did pay for a crime, and no background checks were ever done. His nephews crossed the border and helped run drugs from Las Vegas to San Francisco. California really does need to clean up his jurisprudence messes as well as the dumpsters on their streets.
People reading this will wonder if it is an urban myth, anyoe could say this. Twelve in my small town went to work in the USA, 9 of them left town because of not wanting to face a prison sentence. So, OPEN your borders, and we will send you some more. The nice ones, the people you would WANT for neighbors, stand in long lines, pay excessive amounts of money, only to get the stamp in their passport REFUSED.
You have to modify the bad behavior at the top of the food chains who set up these sanctuary cities.

Didn’t the courts rule that only FedGov can enforce immigration laws?
Wouldn’t that make sanctuary cities similarly wrong as they seek to fiddle with immigration law contrary to federal law?
Then, to have John Boehner, and Paul Ryan pretend to support common sense values, but see them secretly wilt and not follow through. I owe it to Mark Levin, etc., for showing me what they were really doing behind the scenes.
Finally, we have a government willing to run our country for the benefit of all US citizens, regardless of race, and not just managing the decline of a great and powerful nation. We are now actually gaining ground as a country!
Nothin’ is stopping this train.
This will bring over a large percentage of votes from the few moderate Democrats that are left.
