Roy Moore sues conservative outlet for $40 million alleging 'fake news' (Washington Examiner)

Scandal-ridden Senate candidate Roy Moore is suing a conservative media outlet for $40 million alleging "fake news," as he runs his second campaign in three years for the same Alabama seat.

The Alabama Republican lost to Sen. Doug Jones, D-Ala., in a 2017 special election, after facing multiple accusations during the campaign that he had pursued romantic relationships with teenage girls while he was in his 30s. Moore filed the suit against Washington Examiner on Monday.

“Like the people of Alabama, I am sick and tired of ‘fake news’ by media organizations which pretend to print the truth but in reality, are politically and philosophically motivated to distort the true facts for their own ends," he said in a statement. "Unlike some who choose to suffer in silence, I have decided to fight back!”

He would still be the Chief Justice of the Supreme court of Alabama if he weren't so kooky.

You mean telling the G#dD@mned bastard Federal Judges to go F*** themselves regarding their overreach of power is "kooky"?

I think it is exactly what he should have done, and the other cowards on the Alabama supreme court are the ones who should have been thrown out.

It's way past time the people told Federal Judges to go F*** themselves when they try to shove immoral crap down the throats of the people.

Moore was legally and factually correct on both his 10 commandments issue and his F@ggot marriage stand. Everyone else involved was wrong.

Moore was not electable.

In 2012, he Won more votes than Richard Shelby did when he was elected to the Senate.

Regardless of the truth of the allegations, Alabama Republicans did not believe or trust him.

The Rino Liberal elite faction did not trust him. The George HW Bush style country club Republicans did not trust him. The rank and file people did.

In part because of his history that had twice caused him to be removed from the State supreme court.

Moore is legally and morally right in both the Ten Commandments case and the F@Gggot marriage case. Everyone else on Alabama's supreme court was a go along to get along milquetoast coward who is perfectly accepting of Federal Judicial overreach.

He was seen as a nut.

With massive amounts of help from the Liberal Lying media weapon system that portrays anyone who wants to curb the power of Washington DC as a "nut."

Kavanaugh was portrayed as a serial rapist. So? They are liars.

Maybe you are misdiagnosing the intent here. The first thing I thought was “pour encourager les autres.”

Roy Moore lost because of Roy Moore. Stop making excuses. Trump had the media pile onto him even harder and he won. Won in Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin. Moore failed in Alabama.

Trump is an exceptional man. Roy Moore is an ordinary one. Claiming that an ordinary man is unworthy because he cannot work the magic of an extraordinary man is just wrong.

You stop making excuses for the media liars, because they have f***ed us up a lot more than anything Roy Moore ever did. They are the primary enemy of fixing the nation, and until we smash that propaganda system and replace it with something resembling fairness, we are never going to fix what is wrong with this country.

Bottom line is Moore is the person most responsible for his own political demise. We don’t need him. Go away Roy.

You misspelled "Stephanie McCrummen", who was the actual Washington Post bitch that made up the initial fake story about Roy Moore, and which the National lying system ran with.

For a bit of background on the piece of Schiff that works for the Washington Post, she is the same smear monger that wrote the Ni**er rock lie against Texas governor Rick Perry.

Yeah. Shes exactly that kind of trash.

If the "rank and file people" trusted Roy Moore, he'd be running as an incumbent right now.

In fact, if these same people trusted Roy Moore, he'd be doing better than 10% in the GOP primary polls.

Face it, dude -- the guy's a loser, and his inane lawsuits and public temper tantrums have gotten too tiresome and predictable even for a lot of people who supported him in the past.

If the "rank and file people" trusted Roy Moore, he'd be running as an incumbent right now.

That is a "fact" not in evidence. The rank and file may trust Moore, but they also know the effects of a massive apparatus for spreading lies, and the occurrence of backstabbing on the part of the Republican party.

In fact, if these same people trusted Roy Moore, he'd be doing better than 10% in the GOP primary polls.

That is also just speculation. They may trust him, but again they are aware of the power of the forces arrayed against him. They also understand that someone else can give them what they want without having to go through all that crap thrown at Moore.

Face it, dude -- the guy's a loser, and his inane lawsuits and public temper tantrums have gotten too tiresome and predictable even for a lot of people who supported him in the past.

He isn't a loser, he is a victim of backstabbing and lying by the national media apparatus, and the people doing the backstabbing and the people doing the lying on the national mass communications systems are our real enemy.

We've been through this song and dance repeatedly, Diogenes. I think the guy is just an @sshole, and his theatrics -- which go all the way back to 2006, by the way -- have obviously just alienated most of his supporters.

I think people tend to see what they wish to see. I see that this is what you wish to believe, and so I shall let you believe it, but if you insist on arguing about it in public, I will tell you what I see as the truth.

Fair enough, but I call them as I see them and I like to think I’m as objective as anyone. And as I see it, Roy Moore is an inept, tone-deaf political candidate and a very off-putting human being who simply isn’t suited for elected office.

The Washington Examiner is conservative? NO, it is Swamp. Swamp news always trumps Conservative news. The Examiner might be slightly less liberal than the WaPo, or NYT, but it is far from Conservative.
