We have to keep in mind the wiles of the deep state.
If it comes to a physical defense of the Constitution, then so be it.
But the deep state has been orchestrating conflict for a long time. The first goal should be to figure out exactly what they’re up to.
The Deep State and the out in the open crazies like Northam and Herring will provoke an incident because they want a casus belli to justify a full armed suppression of all opposition. Yet, if the plans of the Governor and the Rat legislature are passed into state law, it will be the moment to fight unless an injunction is immediately issued to stop their madness and then an appeal made to higher courts.
Count me in. Filthy Fed-Guv and State-Guv can FOAD. It seems I may be moving to Virginia and have zero use for this Northern Virginia BS.
2nd Amendment bump for later... .
The only freedom DemocRats care about is their ability to freely run your life.
A lot of the directors live in NY, Mass, California and other Democrat states. as to a reason for it, use your imagination.
Either this tyranny will spread like wildfire after this or the resistance to tyranny. One or the other...but this is the beginning no less.
You sound ignorant about guns in general
Sounds about right,,,
“Is anyone challenging the constitutionality of this”?
Most counties in VA are questioning it. And so are most sheriffs. At least one sheriff has plans to deputize citizens.
It’s the responsibility of the people, not the NRA.
So, yes, it is being challenged.
This is gonna get interesting.
><
For sure. At least one VA county sheriff has plans to deputize a bunch of citizens.
Thanks for posting that. Everyone on our side should familiarize themselves with that event.
The sons of liberty brought it home to the governors mansion, they should do the same.
Good for them and this isn’t just about guns. Leftists will try to own you, your family, and everything you ever worked for.
The NRA was responsible for most federal gun laws to 1970, and most recently supported the ban on bump stocks. There's money to be made prolonging the problem.
Would you pay ADT to develop better alarm systems if they were actively working on legislation to decriminalize burglarizing homes?
Then why do people pay the NRA to lobby for gun rights when the NRA spent most of its history working to infringe upon gun rights?
The NRA only seems to care if it means people might question donating/renewing memberships - i.e. when the bottom line is impacted.
Where are “our” judges? Why doesn’t some “Trump” judge slap an injunction on this clearly unconstitutional law? ALL IT TAKES IN ONE.
Pretty much sums up the vast majority of gun owners. Met lots of good people on the range and at shooting competitions. There were always a few wing-nuts out there as well, but they were pretty easy to spot.
Should the breaking be reached, the response by the citizenry will need to be swift and harsh. The government elements have the ability of better coordination on the front side which can be a real advantage; I just don't know how many from law enforcement will go along with it. 20 years ago, I'd of said not not many, but nowadays there are plenty of cops that shouldn't be cops and the government people feel all sorts of self-entitled and above the people.
Might be worth for people to read Vince Flynn's "Term Limits", and John Ross' "Unintended Consequences" (PDF format) for some ideas.
"Would you pay ADT to develop better alarm systems if they were actively working on legislation to decriminalize burglarizing homes?"
Interesting theory..
actually this was my comment-
I live in virginia and just purchased an ar gun and I didnt care to much about having one, but because they want to ban them I figured I ought to have one. there will be and should be resistance.
