The entire House effort to impeach President Donald Trump has been a one-sided partisan effort; built upon a foundation of manipulation of process and dismissal of the minority rights throughout.
After the House voted along party lines, and in an act of stunning hubris, Speaker Pelosi now declares she will withhold the articles of impeachment until the Senate makes rules that she determines will be “fair” to the prosecution. [Video at 09:00 prompted]

The handwriting is on the wall and plain for anyone to see- What she is doing is setting hte stage to accuse the republicans of ‘unfairness and corruption and collusion with hte president’ so that she and her ilk can whine to the public during hte next midterm elections - she’ll say something like “We tried to get a fair trial in the senate, and submitted reasonable demands, for hte good of hte nation, which the republicans refused because they are so corrupt and are in such collusion with hte president that there was no way we could ever get a fair trial after we gave the republicans such a fair hearing process”

There is no concept of fair to the House. Thats like being fair to the DA who arrests you. Nobody has to be fair to the House. The Senate decides. There is no concern for the House at all. The concern is for the country only.

A complete abuse of power... McConnell should inform the Speaker the Senate is prepared to dismiss the articles approved by the House with prejudice without holding a trial in view of House Democrats attempt to blackmail the Senate on its trial rules.
The Senate should vote on tomorrow and pass a binding rule that no articles of impeachment are valid unless presented to the Senate within 30 days of passage by Congress.
This was predicted.... I guess so that the House Dems (Dims) can hold this black mark against DJT right up to the election, effectively stamping it in to the history books.
All the more reason to appeal the Articles to SCOTUS - and have them thrown out.
Trump needs to point out that NAZI will NEVER become POTUS from her lame actions there in the House.
