Temple U. looks into student’s video which says campus neighborhood is a ‘ghetto’

Oh good gravy, my parents used to live in East Falls and we’d take the R6 into Center City — one of the stops on the line was Temple. Even in 1989, Temple was a burned out pit.

Took a summer film class at USC in the late 60s. It was surrounded by ghetto then, have no idea what it must be like now. Of course our apartment was broken into and stuff taken. We were poor students and didn’t have much to take.
