Could it be that as a society we have been trying to fit square pegs into round holes? Perhaps we should return to admitting that there are those born with clear limitations and stop pretending otherwise. Might take a lot of pressure off of the families.
My nephew majored in "post production"...film editing. That's one of the things I warned her about.I had done some research and found that film editors didn't make a lot. So I warned her..."don't put out all that $$$ given his Asperger's (and his past history),particularly for a job that doesn't pay much".
"Nope,he wants so he'll get it" was her response. His father was deceased and he was Mamma's Little Boy..and the rest is history. $150K down the toilet.

Yup,earlier this morning I saw an article in which Great called her Asperger’s a “superpower”. It may well be that superior intelligence often goes along with Asperger’s (it certainly does with *my* niece and nephew) but it takes a whole lot more than raw intelligence to make your way in an advanced,and complex,society like ours.

Greta has Asperger syndrome, has been treated for depression and attempted suicide. She is batsh*t crazy. Before her “climate change” paranoia, she was hysterical about other things.
Eventually she is going to commit suicide. She is self-destructive and deranged.

i had a scout that everyone thought had aspergers... i saw it as a defense mechanism for an abusive parent... now he is in school and very socially well adjusted... for an eagle scout.

The way she looks at Trump with hate in her eyes tells me that there is something wrong with her. Trump is NOT causing global temperatures to rise. If he knew how to do that, he would also know how to lower them.
This kid has become the embodiment of the leftist mind. She is really a danger to herself and other people.
She is obviously not doing all this alone. She has rich adult backing. They pay her way and organize her appearances and “carbon neutral” trips. Those people are taking advantage of her neurosis for their own ends, and in the process making her neurosis worse. That is criminal in nature.

As a girl with Aspbergers, she essentially has no life or side interests, and she’s fixated on this issue. Her gender neutral basic clothing plus pig tails makes her look 7 while her high intelligence makes her sound 27. She’s perfect as the “wise child” icon.
And then the liberals use her as a human shield. How dare you criticizes this wise child? While deliberately ignoring the fact she’s demanding we make expensive lifestyle and economic changes. How dare you question us ordering you to live in poverty and totally obey us for the sake of the planet?
“For the planet” is now openly used as an excuse for total power.

Too late, already come out in other ways. She publicly calls Aspbergers a superpower. Her mother published a book about dealing with Greta’s multiple mental illnesses (OCD, severe anxiety, Aspberger). And that was before she was famous. These diagnoses are bolstered by the fact the non-famous sister has Aspbergers and similar issues, too.
From her mother’s book, she has OCD, severe anxiety and Aspbergers. This has manifested in selective mutism and eating disorders before she went vegan.

After a few years and a couple of promotions (of a sort), I wound up as a glorified data entry person in Louth automation. Mostly because I was not in any of the cliques.
When it was important, my name would come up on a production schedule. More often than not, my name would not make the credits. Sure it was public broadcasting and no one watched. Still bothered me.
An important one that I got left off was a Dave Brubeck jazz production. I didn’t know until a year passed and I saw it on a monitor. Where I should have been, I saw the name of a favorite pet.
I contacted the producer and asked. He said he wasn’t sure. This guy was way too detail oriented. He was told I’m sure.
True, just like that liberal broad whose son died in service to his country. I can't even remember her name. But she was used, abused and discarded.
But that doesn't alter the fact that greta is spoiled, attention whoring and mentally defective. (Autistic? Bipolar?)
