While Democrats in Congress have been conducting impeachment hearings in recent weeks, President Trump has been filling judicial vacancies in the federal court system at a rapid clip – and that appears to have potential 2020 opponent Joe Biden worried.
“Look at how the federal court system is changing,” Biden told a group in Las Vegas on Tuesday night, according to a reporter for ABC News. “Four more years of the same kind of appointments, you’re going to see a court system that is fundamentally, for two generations, locked in a way that’s a death grip that does not make any sense.
“It’s as if Robert Bork would be the chief justice, God rest his soul,” Biden added, referring to the Ronald Reagan Supreme Court nominee whose appointment Democrats blocked in 1987. Bork died in 2012 at age 85.

Further proof that to rats, the courts are political bodies. Since much of the Left’s outrages depend on court rulings, they have every reason for concern.
Giving the Democrats a taste of their own medicine is music to my ears.
Two can play the judicial activism game. No wonder the Democrats are in such a great hurry to impeach Trump.
Considering that the left has been using the courts for ages to implement socialist policies that the people never supported (e.g. abortion and gay “marriage”), the prospect of courts stacked with constitutionalists must be terrifying to would-be socialist dictators.
Trump is t transforming America. The commies transformed America. Trump is merely restoring it.
So listen up, GOP senators. No more spite retirements like those that cost us the House last time out. We would not be going through this agony if it weren't for so many of our people retiring before they really needed to. And we need to do our part, too. Start up the money bombs not only for Trump but for down-ticket candidates who will support him. Then get out and vote for them.
What he is saying is....The courts have been loaded with Dem judges for years....and now Trump is breaking up our “non-political” court system.
We shall see just how far this person strays from the reservation. I give you odds that we will be disappointed with this one and many, many other picks that Trump has gotten confirmed. It’s always “conservative” Republican picks that go wobbly. I have never seen a dem pick turn out to be more conservative than was anticipated.

Why is this guy's sex life important to his selection as a judge? Aren't his qualifications -- his adherence to the constitution -- the only factor in his selection? Or shouldn't they be, at any rate? I'm weary of this identity politics stuff.

Of course. Trump has been brilliant on judges. My criticism was with the reporting. Why do we even have to know about his bedroom activities? Or his shoe size? Completely irrelevant. I only care about his judicial principles.
