Greta Van Sustren (remember her?) also had decisions to make after leaving FOX News. I believe she went to MSNBC afterward, and was under pressure to join in on the Trump bashing. Greta didn’t want to do it their way, and she left.
She is now on Grey TV as an analyst.

So Catherine will be given a certain amount of time to conform to the norm. After that it may be an ‘out of the frying pan, into the fire’ situation.

Katherine and Major Garrett, were both hired away from Fox. CBS has figured out that the way to rise to the top in the race of the big three is to move to the center. That can’t be done overnight without chasing away part of the audience but over time they will attract a more conservative following. The are trying to separate from the pack.

She’s amazing, one of the few real journalists left in the USA. The only reason I can think of as to why SeeBS would hire her is that their ratings are in the tank and they are willing to try reporting truth for once, but who knows how long that will last before some leftist exec starts crying. From what I read it wasn’t a matter of CBS stealing her away from Fox News. Fox declined to renew her contract. They let her go.

The only reason I can see CBS hiring her is to spike her stories, and keep her from reporting on legitimate stories, and keep her from working at legitimate news organizations.
