They really believe the tripe they’re peddling.
People don’t care. Especially about the legal arguments for impeachment which are even more boring than the non-existent factual grounds for it.
Public polling has turned against them and Democrats keep on with it. The country has moved on.
I hope America turns on these rats and THEY get investigated, impeached, convicted, and go to prison.
We used to have an occupant of the White House who was called a Constitutional Scholar who thought the Constitution was. “...charter of negative liberties....”. We are sure to see more of the same in this current Kangeroo Court. None of this can be taken seriously.
I know that I will NOT watch the dog and pony show.
It would look like to me that it’s in a wrap-up phase. So the week of 9-13 Dec (Mon-Fri) will be the decision period. I think at least 10 democrats will return on this coming Monday, and call Pelosi to say that they can’t see any reason to continue on the impeachment trail.
Pelosi will go and do a firm count (office by office). She needs 218 to pass this impeachment package to the Senate. She has 235 seats. If there are truly 10 of these abstaining votes from her side...with a couple more hinting of a ‘no’....things will be shaky. I think she already suspects that and has a ‘bad-boy’ condemnation vote ready to go, and just dump the impeachment angle.
The true loss at that point...they gave Trump a chance to collect tens of millions from small-time donors over the past two months. Big screw-up if you ask me.
That should be Must Watch TV, a bunch of lawyers strutting and preening, and spouting incomprehensible nonsense about a phone call is a high crime.
