I have to agree it is time to withdraw from places like Afghanistan. As one person said, after 17 years it will be no better than it is now in another 20 years.
Isis appears to have been eradicated for now. Staying in Syria does not look necessary.

It’s heartbreaking to me....guys i grew up a few years older who I admired from afar when I was 7th grade and they were high school footballers and stuff.... in my station at that snapshot of my childhood ....most went to Vietnam when I was 9-13....and some came back hurt or worse
