Not thanks to Nunes or Castor. Jim Jordan and Ratcliffe were great and saved the day. Nunes, unable to stray off his script, let Taylor off the hook when Taylor gave that rambling answer about something Trump said about Crimea.
Castor, who is supposed to be their lawyer, sounded like he’d never questioned a witness before, let alone cross-examined a hostile one. I was literally yelling at the dashboard and pounding on my steering wheel listening to him, I was so frustrated. Looking at his bio, I see he’s been a congressional staffer for the last 15 years. That is an incredible blunder by Nunes—if they’re going to use a lawyer to question witnesses, then they need to hire an actual trial lawyer. This is too important to leave to an inexperienced amateur.

One comment I heard was that nobody remembers Schiff because he was the kid who didnt play with the others at recess. I cannot confirm or deny that statement, since I don't remember him at all. Not that we had recess in high school.

I think it was just a statement about the way Schiff acts. Not a testimonial.

Using ALL of American history,
NO President has ever been impeached by the House, convicted in the Senate and removed from office. It has NEVER happened. Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton are the only Presidents to have actually been impeached and neither was convicted in the Senate much less removed from office. If Bill Clinton could escape it in spite of his multiple felonies, how in the world do these Dims imagine they can finally make it happen with Trump!? They have had to invent reasons for the "inquiry" and they do not have any cold hard evidence to convince the American people that he should be gone. I sometimes have just stared at the goings on and listened to what the talking heads assert and wonder what planet they must be on that they can come to a conclusion 180 degrees out of sync with reality!
The longer they drag this whole charade out the more it will reveal the nefarious and blatantly partisan actions of the men and women who identify as part of the Democrat party. Keep it going, Adam and Nancy!

There is a difference between partisan and unprincipled. You hit it with "nefarious."
Similar vs. Kavanaugh, these people are making baseless accusations and with the help of the press, inflating them to proportions that make the accusations appear to have some reasonable basis.
Sociopaths, engaged in gaslighting or whatever it takes to get and hold money and power. Fundamentally dishonest.

Thank-you for your reply.
When I was a teenager, my family lived in Framingham, Massachusetts for a few years.
I had heard that Schiff was originally from Framingham, so I was wondering if he and I graduated from the same high school. (There are two high schools in that city, or there were when I lived there....Framingham South and Framingham North).
Apparently Schiff’s family moved to California earlier than I had thought.

You’re welcome.
I had read somewhere that he had gone to the same high school I did. I did a bit of digging and saw that he is a couple of months older than me. So I dug more and found out that we were indeed in the same class in high school.
I went an honorable path from there. He obviously did not.
