Colorado Ping ( Let me know if you wish to be added or removed from the list.)
Pretty sure the bears have always been there. You just see a lot more of them when bowhunting. That said, they need to be hunted with hounds, to keep them afraid of contact with man.

You should organize and promote Nature Hikes for PETA members in to the Wilderness to marvel at the Bears, maybe they can become snacks,.
This is what happens when socialists leave their dying host (California) and move into other areas, infesting it with their lack of intelligence and education (no matter what pedigree they hold).
They ban bear hunting and then cannot understand that bears can become a nuisance if overpopulated.
Environmentalists know nothing about the environment.
my family and I were in Estes Park CO last month; wanted so much to see a bear, saw none. We saw moose, elk, mule deer but no bears.
It is likely part of the LIB nitwit plan to reduce human population because humans are a bane to the planet. These LIB malignancies are relentless in pursuit of their anti-human goals through endless wars, abortion, homosexuality...and now bears
Nah...you got too many humans...there's your problem.
Eeking, squeeking and squealing liberal snowflakes that recoil in horror from any encounter with a REAL native of the land.
They'd solve it by having someone else (not themselves, of course...and please, do it out of sight and quietly) kill all of the bears except for a few for display purposes on their silly ass Christmas cards or Instagram profile pages.
Give me a damn break.
Stupid assholes that scream out against hunting and harvesting these animals in a sane and humane manner, now pee their designer pants over having to share the same space with the icky creatures.
I don’t think we have as many bear hunters as we used to. I’ve taken one bear and that was in Arizona back in the 80’s, we were using dogs. I’m not sure Colorado allows dogs but even if they did the old dog hunters are a dying breed. Not even sure they if they allow baiting which is another method of taking bear.
I’ve had bears sleeping on my porch.
Yes, bear populations are way up all over the United States and Canada.
So are human populations.
So are bear attacks.
Our ancestors were not stupid. They eliminated the large predators for good reasons.
These days, if you go hiking in the woods in Colorado, it’s best to pack a .45 auto or a .44 Automag.
In order to find bears, look for their scat. You can identify it from the odor, it smells like bear spray, and it contains tiny little bells.
Same in Vermont only we don’t have the wolf problem “yet”.
We have a bear problem in Durango.
We have lots of deer in town, too.
It almost reminds me of Japan, because there is almost no hunting allowed and the wild boars there have exploded. They root up everything and the elderly (70% of ag workers) have no way to kill them.
Every year I hunt right where the author is from. I can personnaly attest to the accuracy of his writings. Elk are WAY done and Bears are way up.
Rich liberals and great vistas are always a bad mix...they ruin them every time.
