Sidney Powell, Gen. Michael Flynn's replacement lawyer, is pulling on a thread that is unraveling the conspiracy to generate a crime with which to bludgeon him into cooperating in incriminating President Trump in the Russia hoax. Late yesterday, The FBI made an admission or claim that strains credulity: that it has for years misattributed authorship of the notes used in preparing the Form 302 interview summaries that were themselves altered to incriminate Flynn.

The difference with Flynn is that he had well connected advocates who came to his aid and pulled back the covers on this infected oozing pustule of corruption that is the FBI/DOJ/Intel agency network. Flynn will probably go free, but that is no longer the issue here. The issue here is whether people who claim to advocate law and order will get rid of their Polyanna reveries about the "good guys" in government and reject the fantasies about "getting good people in there to run things." The ONLY way reform is going to be possible is to ignore the wailing cries about "THE TAHRRISTS" and say "NO" to agencies that demand more ability to spy on, have special courts, ignore constitutional checks on invasions of privacy and court protections, and reject the specious claims that government will make you safe. It cannot, it will not and it does not want to do so (despite the good people which may enlist in its ranks). The purpose of any agency is to protect and expand its own power. It will abuse that power and crush anyone who stands in its way, or threatens it. Mike Flynn has done us all a service in pointing this out. I wish him well. He sure deserves it.
The interesting point about all this to me is how the tables have flipped. Utabe, it was the left who wailed about the corrupt system and the abuse of police powers. Now that it is a different ox being gored, the left is wailing about the lunatics who want to disparage "the people who make this country work" and the Trumpsters are the woke crowd.
If Donald Trump does nothing but realign the true believer of totalitarian vs freedom into their proper ques, he will have also done us a service.

Governs least governs best. Absolute power corrupts, absolutely. Not new concepts.
AND the FISA abuse IG report insiders are saying the IG report will be far worse than anyone can imagine. Combine that info with the FIB altering interview notes (302s) and you have an outline of a Soviet style govt that was posed to start rounding up political opponents.
Yes, Barr and Durham must start rounding up Obama administration criminals who ordered the shredding of our Construction. And yes, the criminals in Congress must be exposed as impeachment = obstruction of justice.
Will the truth and justice prevail? The battles are being fought now. The really big battles are coming later.
Law and Order wonks like Adam Schiff?
(See what I did there?)
Every faction is always fooled into thinking they can use law and its enforcement arms to "make those other people behave." However, government just gets bigger - and the malefactors sneer at the impotence of the righteous.
Ben Stone might be a better choice.
Chung chung.
The unspoken crime is how Flynns first attorney sold him down the river.
The thought of Adam Schiff as a prosecutor is scary.
I wonder how many other innocent people he has railroaded in his career.
I always thought that Sen. Thompson looked a lot like one of the guys from Law and Order.

Thompson was a cast member of the TV show Law & Order for a couple seasons. I thought he was pretty good at it.
I know. It was a joke.
I regret that we didn’t nominate Fred Thompson in 2008. Always will.

And this blatant admission that the FBI( Committed a FRAUD upon the COurt, should have landed the Gubmint Lawyer in JAIL and the Judge should have ordered a bunch of Senior FBI thugs to appear and JAILED them too.
In a nutshell, that pretty much encapsulates the problem I have with most "republicans". Every time a law or policy is proposed, we should be looking very closely at Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution to see exactly where that authority is specifically enumerated. If it is not, it should be opposed completely, no matter how righteous the law or policy may make us feel.
By now, I think it should be clear that the two parties are really a Janus-like creature designed to attack our rights from different directions. Party D will push from one direction when it is in power, and party R will push from the other when it gets its turn. This is why the government and media work so hard to keep us almost perfectly balanced into our respective sides, to make sure that each gets his chance to enslave us from their perspective. You will note that once the power swaps, no real effort is taken to actually dismantle the unconstitutional crap the previous side enacted. We are fed crumbs on marginal issues that have no real impact to make us think that "something is being done", while nothing whatsoever changes in any fundamental way.
Here's a simple change that President Trump could do today without consulting anyone at all. Simply make the FBI, DEA, BATFE, NSA, IRS, and all those other executive agencies keep audio, video, or both of any interviews they conduct. This crap with the 302s needs to stop now. As the person in charge of the executive branch. He can write a memo, and the agencies may yell and scream about it, but they'll have to implement it.
Why doesn't this happen? Think about that just a little while and you'll be frightened for the tattered remnants of the Constitution that we are allowed to believe is actually in force today.
