The number of immoralities in the present system is quite significant.

You have identified why some variant if “Medicare for all” is inevitable.

If “needing care” is the highest value of the system (and it more or less is, or we wouldn’t have a $23 trillion deficit), then denial of care because of inability to pay cannot survive.

Donald Trump is President, IMO, because he promised the 60 000 Democrats he needed in the midwest that he was working on a “great plan” that would “cover everybody”.

You’ve made this point repeatedly on FR. It’s a good one. It explains why “socialized medicine” is inevitable.

People who want unlimited access to high-quality health care at minimal expense are delusional, and delusional people inevitably end up with a totalitarian government that dispels their delusions with unfortunate results.
