People who want unlimited access to high-quality health care at minimal expense are delusional, and delusional people inevitably end up with a totalitarian government that dispels their delusions with unfortunate results.
The sad thing is that a totalitarian state is not NECESSARY for a functioning universal system, but as the pressure builds and builds, as it has been doing under the waves, so to speak, for many years - if the only people with a plan are communists, a communist plan is what you will get.
And if the only government that will deliver it is a communist one, then you will get that, too.
