Clinton spoke at the funeral for the late lawmaker in Baltimore and compared him to the prophet Elijah from the Old Testament
Elijah warned against King Ahab - a corrupt leader of Israel - and Jezebel who dressed herself in fine clothing and worshiped multiple gods
She did not name Trump but the message was clear and she was applauded by a congregation which included Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, who also both offered eulogies
Republican lawmakers were at the service but no official White House representative attended
Cummings probed the Trump administration as House Oversight chairman and was leading part of the impeachment inquiry; this summer Trump called his Baltimore district 'rat-infested'
The former secretary of state said that like Cummings, who died this month at 68, the prophet 'stood against corrupt leadership of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel.'
She did not name the president - but her message could hardly have been clearer; Cummings was one of the leaders of the current impeachment inquiry into the president.
Her comment drew loud applause from a crowd gathered to honor the late House Oversight Committee chairman in Baltimore, with two former presidents, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton in attendance,

This kills me...Melania has tried to be nothing but kind. SHe has kept her opinions to herself. You can tell she is a person of faith (like when she asked to have the Lords Prayer said at the rally). What political wife has EVER wanted to do that but that is who she was. It just makes me so dang sad...

How anyone could claim Melania is Jezebel is beyond me. Whatever you may think of The Donald, she seems to me to be a fundamentally decent and good person, and apparently is a devout Catholic. The point that stood out to me is when she went to the children’s hospital in Rome on her own and interacted with the children in fluent Italian.
