The poll released last week by Fox News that claimed most Americans favor the impeachment of President Trump underrepresented Republicans and Independents, The Post has found.
The poll said 51% of voters were in favor of impeachment and removal from office, while 40% did not want him impeached.
Princeton New Jersey pollster Braun Research, which conducted the survey, noted 48% of its respondents were Democrats. But the actual breakdown of party affiliation is 31% Democrat, 29% Republican, and 38% Independent, according to Gallup.
A poll weighted for party affiliation would have concluded that 44.9% favored impeachment and 44.4% oppose it, a Post analysis has concluded.

No. It only shows that about half of those who responded to the pollster would like for Trump to be impeached.
POTUS would have to be convicted, via Senate trial, of the impeachment charges before being removed from office.
The fact remains that more and more independents are shifting from undecided to impeach, even if the party votes are almost even. Also a number of Dems are not in favor of impeachment for strategic reasons, not because they don’t dislike the President. It will be interesting to see if the Turkey/Kurd moves by the President hurt him in his own party.
Had an interesting thought: Would the number of Kurds who’ve sought asylum in the US “throw” the survey?

Plus there’s probably that number of democrats who carry the republican identity for situations like this, and to say how disappointed they are in the party and its policies.
I guess you can’t trust a Fox poll anymore (you can’t trust any poll anymore).
In my experience, most "independents" I have known are left leaning. They only say they are "independent" to portray themselves as "open minded" and not tied to any party, but they always end up voting left. So when these polls are polling "independents", they are most likely just people with left leaning tendencies anyway, so they should be considered Democrats.
This analysis makes no difference. The fraudulent 51% narrative is already out there.

To analyze polling data, we need, at the minimum: sample size, location, selection criterion, and the questions that were asked.
Here is the actual methodology used in performing this crap poll.
Note the sample size: 1003 people.

All FOX polls are skewed to the left and never to be believed. It’s been that way for a very long time.
