No common threat enemy now.
Most Westerners don’t have real enemies facing their personal lives — bad guys that could and would kill them or their loved ones at any time. No real, personal threats.
Many seem to need an enemy to fight, so they go all Don Quixote, chasing imaginary threats. His was windmills, theirs are threats to earth, as described by proggie talking heads.
As rescuers were bagging his scattered remains after a 10,000 foot plunge when the glue finally gave way, a large simian loped across the field holding a package of tape. One of the rescuers looked up and said “Gorilla Tape. Of course!”

If he was serious, he’d have had only briefs on, and super glued himself on good, nose to toes.

If he wanted to make an impactful statement, he should have glued himself to Ocrazio’s plane for her recent “climate crisis” meeting in Europe.

The fact this idiot won a Paralympic Games medal seven years ago is the least important fact about his stunt and should have nothing to do with this story. It is there to somehow give more weight to his idiocy, as if he is some kind of celebrity. His fifteen seconds of fame were over seven years ago. Now he’s attempting to recoup those seconds by adding fifteen minutes of infamy by doing something totally stupid for a reason that’s based on a hoax.
I would have ripped him off leaving a lot of skin behind.
