Those judges work for CJ John Roberts. That tells me all I need to know about them, and Roberts.
Curiously the judges dont seem upset with this
There is more to this story than we can even imagine.
This is Dallas 1963 level stuff.
Yes, because it all goes back to Usurpation Day, January 20, 2009 when all of our elected and appointed stood around and clapped like trained seals for a British subject/Kenyan from Indonesia being sworn in as President in violation of the Constitution.
Fixed it.
I bet Contreras was in on it.
bttt
One name - Rudy Contreras.
Hillary was supposed to win, and none of them get caught.
They were all in on it!
It’s up to Don to get off their assets and charge/prosecute these eastwards Relentlessly.
Stinking spell check. It was DOJ.
Ive seen opinions about pardons 0bola may have issued but not any evidence; remains to be seen. But I never heard of pardons issued for future crimes!
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Yeah they prolly dont want that to get out there
May have to wait till indictments to find out who gottum?

Yes, that is indeed a possibility and thank you for the reasoned feedback.
Assuming you are correct would it not be reassuring for the FISA court to at least say something along the lines of:
"We view recent reports in the media relating to the validity of certain FISA requests with great concern and will closely review associated findings from the DOJ in a timely manner and implement corrective actions, if necessary."
Or words to that effect...something to show an awareness of potential "process problems" and a modicum of concern about potential abuses. Although the court is secretive, that does not absolve it of any accountability.
While their silence may be prudent, it is at the same time very disturbing to freedom loving Americans and calls into question the court's integrity which is not good for the court or the country.
Public opinions (and distrust) are being formed in the interim because silence is often seen as consent. It also comes at a time when a majority of Americans are losing faith in government (e.g., look at congress' extremely low approval ratings).
The court's function is of the utmost importance to this country and it is incumbent on them to reassure the public that the court functions under the highest standards of integrity. Just my humble opinion.
1. Have secret pardons ever been dispensed by a president before?
2. If so, were they legally challenged?
3. If 0bola issued pardons for crimes of which he was party or even the director, seems they would easily be challenged legally.
4. Given that 0bola is not a US citizen, using fake name and documents, another legal challenge right there.
And no evidence has appeared on FR, only speculation (unless I missed something).
Did Q mention 0bola issuing pardons? I don’t recally any mention; I’ll have to search if I have time today.
From my experience, Courts (especially those in the Federal system tend not to comment/speculate on anything. To do so would/could raise “reversible error” should criminal charges arise from the actions of those who lied to the Court.
The Court would rather have the facts in hand. (Pelosi could take a lesson from this)
I’m going to go out on a limb and say if James Comey and company lied to the Court regarding the FISA warrant application, they best hang on to their a$$.
Most Federal judges I knew didn’t take kindly to affiants lying to the Court. The Court can impose criminal sanctions over and above the contempt charges.
I know the wait is maddening, but I’d rather the Court say nothing than make a statement minimizing the actions of the FBI.
Yes, the thought that Barr is in control of Justice is indeed depressing.
Most Federal judges I knew didnt take kindly to affiants lying to the Court.

I hope most Federal judges are more diligent than the FISA court. This court is supposed to be a fire wall to protect our rights to privacy. The more we learn about it though, the more it seems like a rubber stamp.
Also, I would argue that lying to the FISA court for the purpose of thwarting a national election raises this deceit, and its ramifications, to a whole new level. In other words, the lying in this case (by an FBI director and his lieutenants no less) was of an extraordinary nature that I believe the FISA court has an obligation to address, at least in a perfunctory manner to let a highly cynical public know it is concerned and will review the facts when available.
That said, I appreciate your points and the fact that the court would prefer to have the facts in hand before they publically discusses anything. However, as we all know too well, accountability and consequences are extremely rare in DC.
While I agree we are facing extraordinary times in regards to the FISA court, I would ask, respond to what? The Judges only know what we know and that is media reports which are notoriously unreliable.
I think the severity of the situation will result in more than just a “slap on the wrist” for the former FBI Director and his minions. If the IG report is as damning as the leaks suggest, the Court could hardly ignore it.
The Court is dependent on Congress to re-authorize the Patriot Act. Without authorization there is no FISA court. Taking everything in toto, I submit there is little appetite in Congress to continue funding things as they are now. Throw in “wink-wink...non-nod” and the Court is history.
As it is now, Justice Gonzales has a whole lot of ‘spaining to do. He is going to have to explain his relationship with Peter Strzok. The emails between Strzok and Page paint a picture of inappropriate behavior between his court and the FBI. If anything, he will want to vindicate his name in order to maintain credibility on the Federal bench.
Sometimes investigations don’t move as quickly as we would like. Taking into consideration everything, I’d rather root out the cancer than just go for the low-hanging fruit.
I think the severity of the situation will result in more than just a slap on the wrist for the former FBI Director and his minions.

For the sake of the republic I hope you’re right. We were very lucky in uncovering the plot — this time. If there is no accountability we may not be so fortunate in the future.
Given the Swamp’s ability to protect itself I am not at all sanguine with respect to our government’s willingness to police itself on any level.
