Went to bed on Tuesday with clear skies and woke up seven hours later with two inches of snow. Climate Emergency and Climate Crisis? You bet! It's freezing out there!

Here is the fog lifting over Hayden Lake and Canfield Mountain this morning

Cold here in WA State too.

Trying to figure out how to make an emergency call to Elizabeth Warren.

Weather is great in beautiful mid-Michigan. Time for a color tour, methinks.

39 in early October? Too cold for me and the very reason we did not move north to places like Idaho.

It’s been in the 70s for weeks where I am in Arizona and supposed to be that way for the next 10 days or so...With cobalt blue skies and sunny...Love it!

In the mid south we had a record warm September

I was just in Whitefish a few weeks ago.....before the snow

It looked like that big snow recently dumped more on east glacier than Kalispell

The mountain west is such an assortment of micro climates especially about snowfall

Of course I should add I'm one of those who believe the sun dictates what the climate is going to be on this planet and honestly believe based on the solar cycles and lack of sunspots we're going into a significant cooling pattern which could last for decades.☺

Hey, it was 24 degrees at my house this morning. Still rode my bike to work. As long as the roads aren’t icy...

In Spokane, we had 5.2 inches of snow. I think all of it is in my yard. Don’t know when it will melt. My cat is seriously miffed at this Global Warming episode.

My daughter works in Post Falls, lives outside Priest River , drives up HWY 41 to Spirit Lake Cutoff Road in deep snow. As she approached her place, exactly 10 miles from 41: NO SNOW.

How ridiculous is that?

I'LL TAKE IT! You can add the color brown to us here in Alabama. No vivid foliage. No rain. No cool, quiet, foggy evenings. Just the time-lapse imagery of the flora whithering to a husk. The heat has mercifully been making a slow exit after three months of toxic, stagnant temps in the 90's and 100's; even so, it's still several degrees above normal. If long-term climatological models indicate cyclical global patterns, then it's time to beat a retreat for the West Virginia mountains. I refuse to die in this bug-infested circle of Dante's Hell.

Be careful not to do anything stupid like heating your house. That just contributes to more global warming, so it will be even colder next year.

It is cooler now; only 87 degrees. It will only hit 78 on Saturday.

Nice week to finally get outdoors and tidy up some!
