Rep. Adam Schiff and the Democrat mob are NOT sending actual subpoenas to the Trump people. They are sending letters.
Former Assistant US Attorney Andrew McCarthy explained the difference on Hannity’s radio and TV shows tonight.
According to McCarthy, subpoenas are legal actions to be complied with, except for certain privileges. Letters are just a committee threats.
I thought this same thing. It reads like nothing more than a demand letter (an intent for legal action if not complied with).
They can send dead fish or lottery tickets for all it matters.
So where is the link to the “letter.”
Just a little more effort and this post would be worth stopping at.

Their anxiety is such that at the upper levels of the Democrat party they've decided to throw caution to the wind and pull out all the stops. I'm reminded of the ominous messages that were sent out by Saddam Hussein to his "foreign agents" during the run-up to the Iraq invasion in 1991; Saddam sent out messages stating "implement all actions that are on the table, and all actions that are off the table."
The Democrats have escalated their harassment, interference, and disinformation campaign to a new level, implementing the "off the table" actions they had been holding in reserve.
I would not be surprised to see even more extreme actions in the days to come, including incidents involving firearms.
I certainly would not be surprised to see a mass shooting incident, or multiple mass-casualty attacks happening when PDJT announces indictments in the FISA warrant matter or in connection with the various Democrat foreign interference and collusion operations that were used in 2016 and after.

Good idea, Republicans issues similar ‘subpoenas’ letters to Libs such as Biden, Obama, Hillary, etc. Also issue a press release.
Media will need to either say the Libs need to comply or explain why the letters are not legal subpoenas. Then Adam Schiff's are not legal..........

In short, these aren't enforceable subpoenas because no House Committee has the power to subpoena for Impeachment purposes. The letters claim the subpoena power is from (legislative) oversight, then demand material related to impeachment.
The Hosue has teo separate powers. It can sit in legislation, and it can sit in impeachment, but it can't do both at the same time. The legislative subpoena power of the House is delegated to committees for the purpose of legislation. The subpoena power for the House sitting in impeachment has not been delegated.
The House, when sitting in impeachment, is a quasi-investigative and quasi-prosecutorial body. The House can delegate investigation to one or more committees, but it has not done so.
Committess each have selected subpoena power, each committtee having jurisdiction of certain segments of legislation and oversight. The delegations are spelled out in detail in the House Rules. Standing Rules of the House - Rule X lays out Committee jurisdictions.
See too, rules amendment at H.Res.6 - 116th Congress, and H.Res.5 - 115th Congress; none of which delegate (or even mention) impeachment power.

I saw her rant on the news yesterday. Does she really understand what she is saying. It is a sure route to civil war. The house is part of the legislative. The president the executive and the the so-called independent judiciary. The house has gone off th deep end. They cannot even get what a proper impeachment is. They do not have control of this train wreck. They do have the Deep State and he media helping and that is why we are being put through this joke. It has to be stopped or violence will result.
Yep. The MSM is in on the scam. The MSM has never mentioned the fact these letters lack the power of compulsion. It will be interesting if a majority of the House will vote to hold those who resist to be in Contempt of the House. That's all they can do when a target refuses to comply.
Well, that and get the press to lie for them, which is status quo.
The press will assert that the WH has obstructed justice. All this by a MINPORITY of members in the House, swinging the press around.
It's a sight to behold, and a taking advantage a gullible public.
