I just cannot believe anyone on Trump's side can be that stupid. I cannot imagine that Schiff would fall for a ruse like that. It had to be someone he's comfortable with.
It's not out of POTUS’ range ideas to set a trap, but this one has very large consequences if he was caught doing that.

It looks like ICIG Atkinson played a role similar to that of Jim Comey before the 2016 election. If he had not changed the rules to allow the hearsay to be treated as a whistleblower complaint, Trump would not have needed to release the transcript and Pelosi wouldn’t be pushing for impeachment based on the phone call.

That’s what I’m getting at. Someone has a report, but they can’t use it, it’s third-hand info along with newspaper clippings. To use it, they had to change the rules, so the roll-out was delayed until the ink was drying on the rule change order
I agree completely. Simply rewriting legally binding rules, and that, after the fact? Calling blatantly false third hand information “credible?” That leaves me speechless. If this kind of tactic is tolerated, we are living in a totalitarian state.

Also note that the rule change post-dated the complaint, and the online form pre-dated Schiff announcing the complaint by a few days-in fact, I think the rule change was posted on 9/13, a Friday, and Schiff announced on Monday or just after. That is coordination. And sedition, IMHO. Guantanamo is too good for these creeps.
Ok, I wasn’t commenting about the poster putting up the thread if that’s what you are thinking. I have been commenting that I am surprised the MSM is responding so slowly to the actual/real news that is taking place. They don’t like what has become news now that its turned the impeachment agenda on its head, so they are hiding their heads in the sand until its old news.
