COMMERCE TWP., Mich. (FOX 2) - A town hall on gun control featuring Congresswoman Haley Stevens ended early as tempers flared and the arguing turned to shouting Tuesday.
It was held at the Multi Lakes Conservation Association and organizers were not transparent as to what the town hall would be about when it was booked at the club. Many of the members did not find out until recently that it would be about guns and gun control.

I have a Milford address, but I'm just outside this district. Multi Lakes is a very well known gun club in Western Oakland County. I think the democrats tried to sneak something here to try and split the firearms community. It didn't work. First term Rep Haley Stevens lost her temper, and showed that she was just another feminist democrat harpy with her claws out.
Hopefully there's a good candidate running there to make her a one termer.
I don't know why, but this just made me laugh...I am sure being the Leftist she is, she probably thought if she could get everyone at the table, everyone could talk calmly and rationally, find a middle ground, and everything would be just hunky dory!
Most conservatives don't have any problem with rational dialog and middle ground, but in a cut and dried situation where they want to take away your Constitutional rights or murder unborn children, we tend to cut that person off at the pass.
And rightfully so. What a turd. Not transparent...it would have been a lot of fun to see if they HAD been "transparent"...:)

"Middle ground", arrived at through discussion or debate, is how the Nation lost the Constitutional Republic and, subsequently, nearly every "right" that the Nation was created to serve and protect...
In terms of the vast control of almost every detail of our private lives now under absolute control of the federal and state governments, one could make the case that the country was far more free and better off under King George than we are today...
Even the Soviets,at their peak of power, didn't have as much detailed control over the serfs as our government masters now have over us...
Yep! 100-years of "discussion and middle ground" have done lots of good... Just not for the serfs and their former freedoms...
