Clinton wasn't convicted by the Senate (which had a democrat majority), nor will Trump (with a democrat minority). However I see your point. Trump should follow the Clinton playbook and have a major pep rally on the White House lawn after he is acquitted, and set the stage for a major republican victory in 2020.

What are you trying to say? Bill Clinton was not convicted in the Senate trial, that’s why he remained in office.
Clinton was impeached by the House, but never convicted by the Senate.
