So it seems. Your position places you as either an independent, Democrat, or under the influence of Russia. Remember the world used Quantitative Easing to print money under Obama. The N-I complex drives space and the economy’s research. Until America has no enemies it is better to bleed Russia and China with shooting and trade wars rather than to leave them to their own devices.

It’s long past time to turn Iran into a glass bowl.

Mecca and Medina too.

I wish Trump would propose a national lottery for someone to push the Button Bomb Button... inferring that imposed peace is at hand.

Joe appeared a mere 16 years after that election. Kramer had his picture taken with Gerald Ford. I wonder if he still has it?

Converting to USD from CDN, and litres to US gallon, we are paying approximately $3.00/US gallon in Calgary already, BEFORE any pricing changes. In Hongcouver, they are ALREADY paying approximately $4.50 USD/US gallon, and the prices have no apparently, gone up yet! Yet another reason why the lineups to cross to WA from BC are usually so long!

Yuck Foo, Justine True-dope!

Big deal! Slightly north of $8 in Norway.

Yup, they would make a great place to store toxic waste.

“It is Iran.”

Even if it was the Houthis, It is Iran.

The Saudis know it, the USA knows it, and the Iranians know they know it.

Iran has to change the status quo, because they are bleeding out with the sanctions.

Attacking tankers did not do it. This is an escalation.

WSJ: “The Saudi national oil company, known as Aramco, has determined that its facilities were hit by missiles, people familiar with the matter said. A U.S. government assessment determined that up to 15 structures at Abqaiq suffered damage.”

Ah, the joys of socialism!

Several quotes from Sir Winston Churchill on socialism/communism:

“Socialism is the philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy.” —Perth, Scotland, 28 May 1948, in Churchill, Europe Unite: Speeches 1947 & 1948 (London: Cassell, 1950), 347.

“The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings. The inherent virtue of Socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.” —House of Commons, 22 October 1945.

Our new flag if the little dictator is re-elected with a majority.

>We should stay out of this mess - it’s a Sunni-Shia conflict.<

.
Waaaaaay too late for that. We have been involved in the ME ever since we started importing their crude and ever since Iraq invaded Kuwait.

>“Saudi Arabia is fully capable of launching a counter attack against Iran.”<

Saudi will launch the counterattack fully expecting the US to blunt the Iran counter-counterattack.

The Saudi Interior Ministry said Saturday that the facilities were hit by a drone attack, an account confirmed by people familiar with the strikes.

Better get it right the first time THEN do something about it. Fast and Hard! (but do not be wrong)

If you look at the damage photos and look at the plant in google earth, it shows me the impacts came from the west/west-northwest.

Yemen is south and also south-southwest. Iran is north-east.

I’m not following how this direction supports that it came from Iran and not Yemen. Not arguing for a source, I just don’t follow the logic.

Especially as drones (whatever that means) can follow a flight path that can loop them around so they come in from any direction.

Anyone understand this better than I do and can explain? Thanks

On this time around, if the Saudis dial up the US....the response from Trump is a quote on a day-by-day operation, and just a thirty-day response will cost in the two-billion-dollar range. I don’t think the Saudis have the money to conduct a real operation.
