In all of the decades that the modern version of the contentious debate in America over guns, freedom, and the Second Amendment has been going on, the gun-control advocates have repeatedly assured gun owners of one thing: they don't want to take our guns away from us.
My, what a difference one presidential primary full of unabashed Democratic statists makes.
After years of being told that we are paranoid for saying that the anti-gun Left wants to confiscate our weapons, the anti-gun Left is letting us know in no uncertain terms that they want to confiscate our weapons.
Loudest among them is Robert Francis "Horse Mouth" O'Rourke who, seeing his relevance as a candidate dwindling by the hour, has decided to go all-in on making a pitch for being America's gun-grabber-in-chief:

All the Q-tips are right in this respect: if any one of these fascist DemoKKKrats is elected, there WILL be “thousands of sealed indictments” for every gun owner in America. Don’t doubt it.

There is no one to control their debates and no one to lead the Democrat Party...and, no one to run with meaningful purpose against against our great POTUS, Donald J. Trump!!! Some one person to blame...yes, Barack Hussein Obama, Obama, Obama, Obama. He filled his criminal, shyster, pockets, while he developed not one person of value to the Democrat Party. Obama & his wife Michelle love only themselves...not you...Americans!!!
And unless I missed something, no other candidate said Beto went too far with his comments, right?
In that case, the GOP should run ads that Biden, Warren, etc. seem to agree with gun-grabbing Beto, and challenge them to risk pissing off their primary base voters by saying otherwise.
If Trump can get the illegals out of the country, America just might have a chance. Otherwise we will eventually end up with one of these gun-grabbers.

When Beto said that, no one on the stage objected or disagreed. However, Kamala Harris doubled down on gun grabbing, saying she would use an executive order to confiscate them. (not sure how that's going to work with the pesky constitution)
I would guess the GOP is waiting until they name a nominee to get them on the record on the 2nd amendment. May as well tag the nominee with the moniker rather than spend a ton of money going after the entire clown car.
