I do not believe President Trump has indicated he will go for any new gun control measures. This is just Cruz talking out his yang again.

The ‘knee jerk’ reaction is tiresome.

Hahaha ted is funny. Warren has no chance. Suck an egg in closet you Cuban Canadian.
Ted needs a blanket

"No, he wont - not to that bunch of lunatic Stalinists."
Especially to that bunch of lunatic Stalinists! If we need to do a repeat in order to settle the issue with the contingent of elitist, anti-Constitution, un-American Republicans among us, let's get it over with for good and all. Obviously, some of them were too stupid to learn their lesson during the Obama debacle.
All the better. It will hurt the traitors in our midst more than it will hurt us. "A country boy can survive" (credit to Hank Williams Jr.).

Old Ted was not concerned about tanking Trump’s election prospects when he refused to endorse him at the GOP convention! A disgraceful evening that was topped off with that mental case Lee from Utah all red-faced & screaming at the stage.
Seriously...Cruz is looking for some press here & stating the obvious.
To: CJ Wolf
A million people here have said he would lose if he did and that they wouldn’t even VOTE for him.
Ted says it and stupid comments abound :)
More stupid than not voting for Trump in 2020.
Or at least tied.

Agreed. Cruz creating a strawman to put some distance between himself and POTUS for some reason. Cruz is sneaky and ambitious and not to be fully trusted. Not sure what’s with him over the last couple of days but he’s letting the mask slip.

Cruz is one of the most brilliant conservatives ever elected to office; yet he still lost and has been wrong about Trump on several key issues, like the Chinese tariffs and the Mexico tariff threat.
What does that say about Trump then? Cruz may be intelligent but Trump is in an entirely different category.

True. But if he can get repeal of the existing krap laws and refs , he will win re-election and the eternal thanks of millions and millions of Americans. Can we ever get bad laws repealed in this country? Since prohibition

Cruz won over Beto by only 2.5% of the total vote IN TEXAS last year.
Thats what Cruz did to depress the Republican vote for himself.
Cruz is not that smart and as another poster aptly stated, he did not endorse Trump at the convention.
